Brendon Rodgers is the best candidate.

curbs or rodgers would both be perfect fits for RFC
just skip checking the CVs, and making a short list
cos weve done it for you hammond
so can we please just get on with it now

+1

It's been 2 days now - and I am already bored of all the speculation! Just name the new manager so we can all slag Hammond off for his choice and critisise (sp!) the new manager for his buying/sellings in pre season!

who is it that gets the royalee seal of approval?

Ideally Curbs.
We'll get somebody like Poyet however.

I still want Aidy Boothroyd but I would accept both Curbs or Rodgers...

I'm glad, but I haven't seen Paul Jewell mentioned anywhere, not on any betting websites, SSN... He's out work, decent record with Wigan and Bradford.

Jim Gannon was doing a very good job at Stockport until finances took their toll and they had to let him go, he'd get my nod.

Of those on the poll, Tisdale for me.

I've already mentioned who I think should take over several times - one from Martinez, Ferguson Jnr, Rodgers, Curbishley or Johnson.

Some bloke on our site thinks you have been talking to Rodgers for weeks...and its only a matter of time before an annoucement is made (they are just spreading the time out to make it less obvious)

He seems pretty certain its right but doesn't seem like your style to go behind the backs of other clubs and nick their managers....

I'm veering towards Curbishley being appointed. I tried to put a bet on betfair but there's no market. :|

mark hughes

he'll get the bag from man city, shearer will stay at newcastle

so huhes then has a choice, hang about till some team is struggling at the bottom 6weeks into the season when the transfer window has closed and try and rescue them

or come to Readng now and build something
