righthip The same names sprang into my mind:
Sanchez
Curbishley
Hoddle
Parkinson
They all seem to have a Reading connection either directly or via their personality type (!)

Just because Michael Parkinson has been to a few games doesn't mean he should manage us. Anyway, he's a Barnsley fan!

instead of tactics and formations , all he'll talk about, is the time when ALI was on his show

Denver Royal Bit confused here.
Such and such manager won't be a good fit cos he will want to spend and the money isn't there.
'We need somebody that is good on a shoestring'.
Yet Coppell was criticized for not spending the money...that supposedly was there?
Either the money is there or it isn't.

Snowball TOTALLY UNPROVEN? Does that mean he didn't manage Watford?
He managed them for 27 league games
His first 9 league games in charge, taking over a "relegation side" were W2 D2 L5 9-15 = 8 Points 0.89 ppg (the equivalent of a 41 point season) RELEGATED
(in that 9 they played 3 top-half sides Reading (4th), Bristol 10th, QPR (11th) )
His next 18 league games were W9 D4 L5 30-21 = 31 points 1.72 ppg (the equivalent of a 79 point season) FOURTH
(in that 18 they played EIGHT top-half sides Sheffield Utd (3rd), Burnley (5th), Wolves (Top), Swansea (8th), Cardiff (7th), Birmingham (2nd), Ipswich (9th), Wednesday (12th)

2 world wars, 1 world cupRoyalBirdgazzer, loyal royal curbishly has confirmed his interest
Source? Cos if this is true, then that would be very good news and should do everything to get him.
+1

2 world wars, 1 world cup Curbs is the only manager who would even vaguely excite me at the moment.
Fantastic record, few blemishes if any.

No-one knows how much was available though or will be available this coming season. There could be £500k available - it's nothing in terms of buying of players - but it's still "money available" isn't it? So JM isn't lying when he says there's money available, it would just be quite interesting to know roughly how much this money is. (BTW I plucked £500k as an example, I'm sure he's made more than that available!)2 world wars, 1 world cupDenver Royal Bit confused here.

Exactly.
All that allegedly available and unspent money will be there.
So we should have no fear in signing someone who wants to sign big and knows what to do with the money.
