Bluebirds to miss out on winger
Cardiff City, 11:58, June 2, 2009
Cardiff City look likely to be beaten by Reading or Wolves for the services of Millwall winger David Martin.
The Lions are reported to want £1million for the winger but that sort of money would appear to be too rich for Cardiff for a player who shone last season in the Millwall side.
Martin has just a year left on his present deal at the New Den but with plenty of interest in him he looks likely to be leaving the club over the summer.
Cardiff had been lining him up as a possible replacement for Joe Ledley who's own future appears to be in the balance as he is continually linked with a move to the Premiership.
