Royal Rother
Buck$, Buck$, Buck$... Oh dear, oh dear....

You were given a chance at a special, special club... You ruined that chance and took your reputation down with it.

You could have built something really good at Watford, been remembered as a friend, inspried people in years to come, been respected, but you traded it all in for a Cubic Zirconia encrusted Rolex and a few pieces of silver...

Pretty soon, you'll be old news, but the club you've left behind, my club, will always be supported by good, decent people. As such, you no longer fit in anyway... Soon we'll cheer a new manager and our old team...

I feel sorry for you mate....

We may be poor financially, but you are poor morally, very poor indeed.

I feel a little sick...

Just one more reason to dislike Reading! they are taking the place of that lot up the M1.

As for you Brendan/Judas, lets see how many players you take to Reading as a result of your recent scouting trip whilst still on the Watford payroll. (and hope they all turn out to be $hit)
Lets hope that some of your players get season long injuries playing in the pre-season Reading v Chelsea money spinner that you undoubtably also organised whilst on our payroll.

In my opinion you are an absolutely immoral kunt who wouldn't know integrity if it came up and hit you round the head with a big stick whilst shouting "I'm integrity, don't misuse my name, you ********"

You would be advised to be absent for the Watford v Reading fixture, because you are going to get some serious verbals!!

I hated your initial 4-1-4-1 tactic (it, like you is sh!t) I don't wish you well, in fact I hope you crash and burn like no manager has done before, we gave you your opportunity and you shat on us, you no good, two faced, lying, money grubbing tw@t!!

LOL

Proper LOLz for this post.

BUt I don't think he did say "I'm 100% committed." Was it not more alng the lines of "for the moment I'm the Watford manager and that's what I'm focused on." Not quite the same.

Watford are bound to feel p1ssed off. Good. Never liked them anyway.

Viva Brendan Rodgers! Viva Reading FC!

Frankly I have trouble understanding their anger. We went about this in exactly the right way. Moreover, I feel we've taken a huge gamble. BR has had 32 games as a Nr 1. Granted, 32 more than McGoo had and 31 more than Judas had, but then we didn't pay £500k compenastion with 500k to follow for either of those 2.

His record is something like 13 wins in 32 games. Seems to me we're buying potential, and that is about all. The big plus of course is he is well known to RFC from his academy days, so we would clearly have the inside track on him.

Don't recall as much vitriol from Brighton when we went about the same way in landing Sir Steve. It's hardly like we're did a B@stard Brooking with Judas - "we've tried the legal way and that didn't work so now we'll try the illegal way".

If I was a Watford i think I might just be rather pleased my club has trousered half a mill minimum for a manager we've had for just over half a season!

Royal Lady ^ I don't blame Watford fans either - does it not ring any bells these "I'm 100% committed to this club, I'll be staying here" type comments??

This is what he actually said.

"When I am asked about other clubs, people are questioning my integrity and one thing I have mentioned is I always have integrity.

"I am loyal and find it disloyal when I am asked about other clubs when I am the Watford manager. There is nothing that has changed in that respect.

"I have seen the papers and know I am favourite for the job but that will always happen in football and, in fact, my job was linked with someone else this year.

"I cannot let that speculation hamper my focus or objectives. It doesn't concern me.

"What concerns me is that I am the manager here and that has been my focus right the way through.

"When I woke up this morning I was planning for Watford."

I think the 100% quote came from Russo (please quote Rodgers if I'm wrong on that) - there is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with what Rodgers said above. If by him saying "I am loyal" Watford supporters therefore thought he was going to stay no matter what turned up then they really are as foolish as the majority of posts on that forum of theirs suggests.

Edit, Oh, I see Armadillo beat me to that by a couple of minutes.... spent too long trying to find a Rodgers 100% quote myself...

Thanks RR, just the quote I was thinking of.

Which I was to lazy to look for, and relied upon my poor memory...

I thought at the time that "When I woke up this morning I was planning for Watford" was a nice, politician's, answer. It sounds very positive but it says nothing about what he will be planning when he wakes up tomorrow morning, or the next week. Moreover, the previous sentence (What concerns me is that I am the manager here and that has been my focus right the way through) is a brilliant combination of the present tense "What concerns me" with the past tense "has been my focus" which again sounds positive, without holding out any hostages to fortune.

The only comment he makes as to the future is the vague comment "that will always happen in football". The Watford fans just heard what they wanted to hear.

Where's our resident Horns supporter?

I'd like to hear what he thinks, he always seems level headed with his opinions.

A shameless **** of the highest order.

He should be a politician as he has much integrity as the vast majority of them.

No doubt the ****** will return to try and pilfer the remaining assets at the club. Its despicable and he will get away with it.

Royals fans should hang their heads in shame. They cry and whine any time when one of their supposed stars will bugger off to the Premier***** after protesting their loyalty too much.

But its okay for their club to come in and ruin what was starting to be a promising road ahead.

I sincerely hope they get relegated next term and return to the obscurity of the old Elm Park days until the Madjeski cretin turned up .Another who likes to blow his trumopet about integrity but is quite content to pilfer the ****.

Br you are an unmitigated **** sir. A cad, a shyster and a miserable hypocrite.

This is how you repay the fans faith and loyalty by slamming the door on their hopes and throwing a bucket of cold water on their dreams.

I hate the ****** just as much as ****** if not more as the bald git did not make such speeches over the values of integrity and loyalty.

Lol, something I just found on their forum.

I've been trying: I mean really putting some effor into it, but I just cannot think of anything I care less about than a bunch of ill-informed and semi-rabid Watford fans expressing their displeasure. We did an honest deal in exactly the right way (completley different from the West Ham and Judas debacle). I'm proud of our appraoch, and of my club.

Agreed. Not really bothered by them being upset. He is home now and let's hope he can take us back up.

Don't think I have ever looked forward to a match against Watford...I will next season!

Bring it on (but without clapper boards, rumblestix, face painting, jester hats)

Completely different scenario. Pardew was denied permission to speak to West Ham. Rodgers had a clause in his contract which once activated allowed him to talk to us.
