Well said Plymouth boy. Ive seen J Henry at Millwall and he is the man. My best mate is a millwall fan (no he's not in prison) and I have been to the den a few times this season and the fans couldnt believe their luck. Kenny Jacket was soo gutted Henry couldnt play in the final and even went as far afterwards to say he may have made a big ifference!!!!!!!

Im a massive J.H fan and not only has he a great cross and the ability to run at players he actally has a f*cking brilliant shot too - bring on next season.

Have Reading ever had player where there was such a divergence between what the fans think of him and what the general football public thinks of him.

In recent weeks a few non-Reading fans have kindly commiserated with me about the fact that Hunt might be on his way, and I've had to explain that I hope he goes as soon a possible for £2 Million ONO.

I just get the feeling that we are going to miss him more than we realise. Even this year his connections (crosses and headers for goal) between him and his brother helped us get to 2nd before it all fell apart. Reminds me of the vitriol when Seol left. Thanks for your time here Stephen and best of luck at your new club (whoever that may be).

Some of the comments on here are a bit bitter and harsh. Hunt has been a good player for us at times - the problem is that for two seasons he has played well until Christmas and then been truly awful after New Year. I have no explanation except that either his heart has not been in it or that he gives so much early in the season that he has nothing left, but either way is time for him to move on.

I hope we get what we can and I would definitely prefer Kebe or Robson-Kanu the left. Don't underestimate the latter. Swindon fans were on the web saying he is an even better player than 32 goal Simon Cox. The only problem with him is that he has been injury prone so far in his fledgling career.

Anyway good luck to Hunt wherever you go and I hope we do get £2/3M plus for him. He is probably worth that to a PL team even if he does just play half a season.

It's not about him being a good player or not...it's his attitude of being an utter mercenary that I certainly take offence to. If making yourself an advert on Sky Sports News is 'acceptable', then go for it...to me, that stinks and we're better off without the likes of him.

If SHunt wants to go , let him go and anyone else who is not totally committed to giving their all and making our team successful ,let them go with him.
We have a new gaffer who seems dedicated to the cause and a fan base also dedicated. We dont travel thousands of miles every season to watch players who cant be bothered to give their all for 90 mins after we have travelled 3 , 4 or 5 hrs to get there, so lets get those who can be bothered together and get ready for blast off next season.

When he arrived at Reading his role was coming on for Bobby in the last 15, just to run at the opposition and annoy them. Somehow he developed into an (intermittently) good player. Then developed far too high an opinion of himself. Not the sharpest tool in the box. Made Gazza sound like Stephen Fry. Let us all down this year.

Bye Stephen. For a player with so much to contribute, most people outside Reading will find it amazing, but you really aren't welcome here any mmore, and won't be missed.

Yes, I hadn't really thought about 'loyalty' bonus clauses - they will be paid unless the player puts in a written transfer request I believe.
