The Reading Fan

I think this is in the right section as it is about the Team.

Interesting little website I noticed while browsing.

http://thereadingfan.wordpress.com/

Anyone seen it? Some interesting stuff on there. Nice artwork

Discuss ( if you want )

I assume its Gilksey, Robin Friday and Trevor Senior on the Elm Park artwork.
The one of the Reading players of 2005/06 just shows how much of that side has now gone.

Its now the 2009/2010 season. 4 years later.

Go back to the 1994/5 side and how many of them remained 4 years later?
Or the Pardew side of 2001/02/03?

Assuming the rumoured moves of SHUNT and KDOYLE happen this summer then it would leave the club with just 4 players from the squad that got us promoted in 2006:

Brynjar Gunnarsson (and he hasn't yet signed a new deal so could leave)
James Harper
Shane Long
Ivar Ingimarsson

Also none of the management team remain.

By the end of 99 we'd gone through several managers and virtually all the players.

Parkinson springs to mind as still being at the club, but other than that I can't think of many...

I'd be amazed if he's not.

He probably is if he is referring to Hahnemann as USA ( ) and badly spells Bullivant's surname.

Decent blog indeed. Bit of a crush on Bobby Convey though.

Hey, yes I am on here. Regular reader, but rarely post.

Cheers for the feedback on the blog. I'd welcome any further suggestions, guest posts etc. It's something I've only recently started, but hope to keep up over this season at least.

@Thaumgurist

I'd better go and sort out that typo sharpish. Wouldn't want Terry getting all offended at my mistake.

Oh you've really blown it now - you've spelt his name wrong! (but then again so has he - according to our current Wolves guest)

Never mind you'll probably end up on his ignore list - like most of the rest of us!

Loving your work btw

You and he aren't on the list.

Elm Park Forever, it's good that you acknowledged your mistake. I might read it once in a while.

Oh bloody hell, sorry Thaumagurist! Consider my wrists slapped.

Thanks for your kind words though. I'm off to Glastonbury now, so won't be posting anything for a few days, but if anyone wants to contribute anything or sees something that you think would make a good blog post, please feel free to PM me.
