brendywendy so we gave doyle a new contract, after which he played only a litte, and scored only a little
and as a result we have robbed ourselves of whatever money we would have gained through the current bidding war over doyle, as all teh clubs will just bid 6.5 to trigger the release, and all the bidding war does is increase doylers signing on fee/wages?
that gamble didnt really pay off did it!

Plymouth_Royal he's scored no goals in something like 18 games for stoke
Plymouth_Royal and only scored 1 for us on loan.

Plymouth_Royal why the hell should we get kitson back. he's scored no goals in something like 18 games for stoke and only scored 1 for us on loan. Plus, from what skysports are saying stoke want to try and recoup most of what they spent on him. He had his chance to prove himself here on loan and get over his personal problems and it seems the latter is all he achieved. I hope he gets another chance at stoke but as for the money we will get from doyle and s.hite we could spend it on a younger and better player.

Perhaps the system Stoke plays doesn't suit him?Plymouth_Royal and only scored 1 for us on loan.
He's actually scored 2. First against Doncaster and the second against Derby.

Royal Rother If we had brought Church and Henry back from loan rather than bringing in Kitson and Little in on loan we'd have.....................

Thanks for pointing that out, but its still a pretty poor record for a 5.5million prem striker.

Doyle didn't score in the last 14 games, whereas Kitson did score 2....
