Deathy Really? A 14 post average a day since Sept 2008 when I used to posted about 200 posts a day? Work it out...

Whether you've cut down or not, 14 posts a day still isn't 'barely posted for 6 months' now is it?

Super_horns You'll be in for Priskin now I am sure.

Rodgers really rates him.

It's alright though Super_Horns, after Monday night's comedy of errors we'll let you keep Scott Loach!

I wouldn't mind us signing Priskin - looks a very cool finisher and good skills on the ball too. Could be a good replacement of Super Kev: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3XrDy9usnI

Franchise FC I'm at a bit of a loss.

With Copps we always knew his targets would be players he's worked with before, but Buck has no 'form'.

Makes guessing at targets a bit more of a lottery.

Buck?
...Rogers.

Buck Rodgers?

As I said, that's an average over that length of time. Lots of posting at the beginning, as I usually did, and very few in the last few months. I don't post anything like 16 posts a day.

We have had a bid rejected. already. and Watford hate us but if the money is right maybe they have sold him to us!!! But would Reading part with that amount of money? We have sold Doyle and looks like Hunt is going too. I think it is probably Wolves...maybe Ipswich....if we have signed him Watford fans will go mental!!! The games against them this season will certainly be interesting!!!!!

Apparently, this is a "new club" that has made an acceptable offer. So, was it us who made the original offer or the new offer? Hope it is the latter.

Wolves perhaps? There is no way that it is us as Russo would look a right twunt! Once is bad enough but twice??? What could make it interesting is if he refuses to move stating that he only wants to move to REading. Would make the games against twatford really entertaining!!! Any chance of Stuart Attwell reffing them?

Who know's? Russo was very cagey overthe whole BR affair...so allt his talk of a new club could be just to appease watford fans...and then he might say we came in with a higher offer...undisclosed...the watford games would be great if we have signed Smith and hopefully he'll score a few goals and phantom goals at that!!!!

We have already made an offer according to the local Watford rag. Quote their chair:

They have made a derisory offer which I am not interested in,” said the chairman, who also branded Reading’s valuation of the 17-goal striker “insulting” and added that he had “no desire” to sell Watford’s leading asset.

So we match it or forget it.

This will be a good measure of our ambition - will Egoman risk a nosebleed by breaking into a 7 figure transfer fee for the incumbent - or will we be feeding off Div 1/2 players for the foreseeable future??????

Too true!! Or perhaps in a parallel universe - you know the one where Gordon Brown wins the 2010 election, and private sector final salary pension schemes are considered only for chavs.
