just seen te new kit! This is for real!!

Blue and white hoops (obviously)
Puma badges on shoulders
Blue panels down side - so no 'full hoops'
White panel on back - not seen the lettering but assuming it will be blue (although would like to see the red back)
V neck shirt - no collar.

I'm choosing not to believe you... Who is this user? What was his name before he became Flip_Flop?

If on Saturday you are proved right I will rightly apologise, and name and shame the person who told me we definitely have hoops all the way around.

This was what I posted based on the new Puma shirt worn by Sporting this season: http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=90087&start=60#p2243692 and I was shot down in a PM that we don't have side panels but indeed hoops that go all the way round.

I've seen it with a member of the club staff - Not giving out names as don't want to ruin his/her career. But it is down at Hogwood too. I live in Wokingham so only a 10 minute drive there to see him/her and the shirt.

Just I saw it on a mannequin ready for the on-line picture to be taken for the club shop. I know one of the chaps who works in there.

I would say medium sized hoops.

First glimpse of the training kit in the video of Brendan Rodgers on the EP website

Looks like it follows the standard Puma template for this season so the new kit could well be a blue version of the Sporting kit

Rawlie19
rabidbee The badges are too high.

Er, no they're not... Have you seen the kit it's copied from??? If we were (and I'm not saying we have) to have that 'frame' for our kit then the badge would be there.

Sorry, I wasn't questioning how accurately you'd copied the shirt, I was expressing an opinion that badges that high look shite.

That would suggest that this is the closest speculation:

Thanks to the person who shot me down saying it was wrong. If this is as close as I think it is then you're clearly not in the know.

I agree. What would the back of the shirt look like though?

This is what I found on a website describing the new Sporting Lisbon kit:

myfootballkits.co.uk The Sporting kit is the traditional green and white, with a darker shade of green than that used for the away shirt.

The sleeves will also be stripes, but the back of the shirt is plain green except for two white stripes, and a green stripe in between, at the bottom of the shirt. The Puma logo will appear on the right side of the chest in gold, as well as on both shoulders.

The Sporting Lisbon football kits are manufactured by Puma and follow the new template being used for other clubs during the 2009-10 campaign.
