readingbedding This season will have a great FA Cup run, only losing in the SF to Chelsea.
We will have 1 game postponed, and 2 games decided by an own-goal.

Blue and White Toucan With a team that was mid table at best since January and without seemingly adding any strength at this moment in time I could possibly go on the side of deluded!!!!

Great FA Cup run?
Now that is delusional.

JR I am loving everything this man comes out with so far!
We would have been in Europe two years ago had Coppell not played down our chances (leading to our failure to beat a relegated Watford in the last home game).
Someone with true ambition was exactly what this club needed. No point setting goals unless you make them challenging and aspirational.

Royalee Back to the subject, what a breath of fresh air Brendan Rodgers is - finally someone in charge talking up the club and breeding positivity which was sadly lacking previously.

Ian Royal Just depends on your sense of humour.
I ound Coppell extremely witty and interesting to listen to unlike most managers. I find Rodgers more inspirational, but also more easy to switch off as he seems to mouth the usual cliched bullcrap more.

Royalee I switched off every time Coppell sat on the fence and bottled saying anything, which was about 5 seconds into most of his interviews.

Royalee That is the best interview I've ever seen a Reading manager give having just been on the Evening Post Website.

I found this a fascinating interview with far more substance to it than the recent official site spin. I particularly liked how comfortable and confident BR seems in the role, as a (relatively) young man barely a month into the job. I must say though, it is totally out of order talking about another club's player when we have not had a bid accepted for him
