Most exciting player for next season..

by moo » 09 Jul 2009 19:06

Who are you most excited about seeing perform next season?

Church? Hamer? Long?

I'm gonna plump for Tabb myself.. I wanna see how he can carry on next season as he really found his way in the centre of midfield at the end of last season and could well be the player to watch...

James Henry.
If not because he could become a brilliant winger, but also because he could just explode, and that would make all the headlines.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Baggie advances.

Also, watch Antonio burst onto the scene.

Kebe - most improved player; and Marek.

unlikely on both counts.

Shlong will see the departure of his senior Cork City stablemate (KD), as his last chance to cement a place in first team British football.

Sh1t or bust, and a fair bet to excite.

Henry is a good call. I'm excited by the prospect of a potential midfield 3 of Matejovsky, Harper and Karacan (or Tabb)

NHunt is also up there for me.

I agree with the Kebe remark, I think if he applies himself he can improve so much.

Player to watch, I'm gonna go.. Tabb or Henry.

If NHunt can stay fit and we give him decent service he's capable of 15 - 20 odd.

I think Henry and Matejovsky if he stays

Would also throw Harper and Long into the mix

Royalee Matejovsky

If he stays I am convinced Rodgers will bring the best out of him, and as his best is good enough to be comfortable in the midfield of one of the slickest passing teams in international football, he certainly gets my vote as likely "best" player, but there's nothing quite like seeing a home-grown lad bursting on the scene so, as Rodgers obviously likes him a lot, I'll give my "most exciting" nomination to James Henry.

Edit: Oh, I see I agree with SOB, that can't be right. Mind you, it'd have to be a helluva transformation from the last 5 years for James Harper to become "most exciting" player. Wouldn't it be good though....

Sorry.......clean slate ..and all that................. next season

But Matty has a lot to do to win the title of this very thread's question.

It was all said about him last season, for and against.

Signed as a premier Midfielder

Struggled to get a start as a Championship one.

I hope he's cheap
