What do you think of the new kit, and most notably, no traditional white shorts and socks again?

Incase they realise their premature mistake and remove them, here they are:

I like the looks of that. The wings don't seem too bad at all on that compared with the Sporting kit and the training kit. Not sure if there are side panels there (doesn't look like it) but, FLOLip_FLOLop, there is no back panel you WUMer. Found out.

Thaumagurist* Looks promising, unfortunately Shane has the ball in the way, so can't tell if there is side panels or not!

Yeah, I thought after I posted that you can't quite tell if there are side panels, but at least we seem to be rid of the back panel. Hooray!

That is one positive thing about it. Not sure about the collar!

I don't like the collar either, but I forgive the cape look because we have hoops on the back. I haven't really liked any of the recent home kits but just the fact that that stupid panel is gone (assuming Long hasn't been fooled into doing a photoshoot in a fake kit!) makes me very pleased.

Does seem something of an oversight by the club that they've made all this fuss about a midnight kit launch only to provide a link to pictures of it in the same article on the website.

Not massively happy with the white bit at the top, but otherwise that is rather lovely. Might even get one this year. I still don't own a proper hoops shirt.

From those pics you can't see any panels. And the person who said there was no back panel said it was hoops that run all the way round, so far no reason to think that that's wrong.

I think you can just about make out no side panels, but it's not quite enough to be sure.

I can't believe it will all be over tonight. What will there be to look forward to next? The start of the season I suppose... Then after that maybe our first signing of the season.

I really can't believe people get excited about a new kit coming out. It will look similar to all the others over the past few years with slightly thicker or thinner hoops and slightly different collar, but ultimately it will look the same. I can understand if you're in the age bracket 5-12.
