TBM If someone offers you £1m or £5m, which would you take??!

I'd be happy with either.

You can have the 1m and I'll have the 5m, and we'll both be happy.

Great! Now, what shall I buy....?

TheMaraudingDog LOL @ people who get mythed at why a player would want £xxxk a week.

It’s like saying why would you want to go from £22k a year to £24k. Or £40k to £50k so on.

It’s all relative no matter how much you earn, if you earn a bit more you can spend a bit more. Luxury yachts, private islands etc are just a couple of the things for example that the more you earn the better you can get.

Exactly!

Of course you would because you are a talentless individual frightened of anything French ,fixated about other people's spelling and work with the weather whereas John Terry is the captain of England and it seems as though he is undervalued financially at Chelsea.
The equivalent might be you getting a £3000 per annum rise for doing a similar job and surely you would consider that wouldn't you?

Still suprised the Chelsea captain hasn't nailed his colours to the mast.

Stevie V might be right, even for Mr Chelsea.

Deathy I'd love it, love it, if Man City replaced CheLOLsea in the top four in the next few years.

Au contraire. I couldn't give a shiny shite whether one obscenely rich club usurps another obscenely rich club from the top 4. They're all as reprehensible as each other.

I'm with Jerry on this one.

And whilst they play their silly games of oneupmanship, it further drags wages and prices up throughout the rest of the pyramid.

I kind of agree, but at the same time, a 5th club reaking in might just help to make 2 or 3 of the big 4 miss out on Champions League football everynow and then. Possibly making them reign things in a bit.

It would be a decent change to have a different club involved. Even if it is the same situation

I do agree with that, I just want to see Chelsea slip from Champions League football and then watch their owner grow bored and fukk off.

You can't really control the fall out, though, and pretty much everybody gets contaminated one way or another.

Can we stretch this any further?

Well, in those circumstances, JT is the sort of geezer you'd want next to you in the trenches before going over the top.....etc......etc.......

Mark Hughes We would like to think we could offer John a different challenge, he's been at Chelsea a long time and I know from my own experience as a player that when you have been with a club for a long time you get to a point when you think you need a new challenge and that a change of scenery would re-ignite certain things within you.

"It is not a question of finance, or money, it is about a different challenge, and John being at a different stage in his life and his career, and maybe that is why there hasn't been a response to commit himself to Chelsea because John is seriously thinking in those terms. I went through that process myself as a player and I can understand if that is the way he is thinking."

Chelsea fans will not be cock-a-hoop at the news if Terry decides to leave Chelsea.
If he doesn't go to the pre-season tour with Chelsea, he'll be going to Manchester City.
