Cork is excellent, but Stoch is a bit of an unknown quantity. To me anyway...

He looked lively when he came off the bench a couple of times for Chelsea.

Would prefer Mancienne to Stoch. He'll go to Wolves probably though. Happy with Cork.

(If it is those 2)

I would have a guess at bertrand and cork. stoch and mancienne are too close to their first team and we are desperate for defensive positions. Bertrand can play LB and CB.Cork can play DM, RB and CB but is primarily a DM.

Over my dead body. Unless it's captain of HMS Reading, which has just hit an iceberg in the middle of the North Atlantic.

Cork is good cover at the back but far more effective in the middle, or as a DM if you prefer. Not much wrong with Rosenior. Not forgetting how Rodgers got the best from two of Watford's more inconsistant performers, Smith and McAnuff. As well as many more. New start for everyone (except Long, he's poo)

The problem is Rosenior was consistent last season. Consistently incapable of making any sort of accurate short pass and consistently prone to aimlessly hoof it to nobody. Our worst cuplrit for that alongside Duberry.

And at least Duberry had the excuse of being a no nonsense centreback. Rosenior is supposed to be an attacking full back. He seems to find it difficult to not fall over all the time as well.

Tbf, we were awful for half the campaign. For all we know, the management were saying to hoof it. We always looked nervous on the ball. No one wanted it. new season, new manager, new ideas, new confidence, new slate. Even for me and you.

The two coming in - Good money on Bertrand and Cork.

Rosy is a quality player who could hold his own in the bottom half of the Prem
and is a likely future captain.

The answers are

1. Chelsea & England U21 left back Ryan Bertrand
2. Spurs central defender Dorian Dervite

season long loans, the Chronicle reckons they'll be announced in the next 48 hours with Bertrand due a medical today.

Bertrand cost 125k to sign from Gillingham and has made 54 appearances for Norwich on loan where he was a fan's favourite. It is believed Chelsea could see him as the eventual replacement for Ashley Cole

Dervite joined Spurs Academy from Lille. He picked up a serious knee injury in January 2007 which kept him out for a year. He has made one appearance for Spurs in the League Cup and 18 on loan at Southend last season which was still enough to get him named in the League One team of the season.

Jack Cork is still a possiblity and talks are still goin on with Watford over Thomas Smith. Robert Snodgrass (Leeds) is rumoured to be the next target if everything falls flat with Watford.

After that I still think we need a left winger from somewhere as well with Danny Rose and David Martin being top of my list.
