I wouldn't bother with either if you value your sanity.

'lista Snowball,

Getting the occasional 'reader's letter' published in Fiesta and Razzle does not a 'professional writer' make.

Although his anecdote about noshing off a truck driver in a layby on the A2 was quite simply riveting.

I wouldn't bother with either as this deal will never happen unless we stump up a reasonable and not derisory offer for him. Get used to the fact that we will start the season with Church or Long up front and a makeshift centre back pairing against money bags Forest!

Why is SKB such an @rsehole lately - he keeps coming up with "facts" which don't materialise. Unless we DO sign Smith before midnight...

Tbf anyone expecting him to be right is a half-wit. It's not like he's mates with some of of the most prolific HNA? wind up merchants now is it?

I'd take anything he says as more reliable than Harold, but then anything Harold posts should be considered bullsh1t until proven otherwise.

Smith deal is dead in water ...case of brinkmanship going on and unless Smith puts in a transfer request, Watford are going to play hardball with us - They too have an Ego Chairman, and i think he feels being stiffed once is about his limit, Blackwell has thrown a total spanner in the works by bidding s huge amount that they don't even have - just goes to show that he's a total cock as well

Snowball
I am, like any fan and ex-player,
I also have managed to watch soccer for 50+ years
one of my degrees is in psychology
I AM an expert on writing

Ok so lets get this straight you are a fan and and ex-player you have managed to watch soccer for 50+ years . One of your degrees is in Psychology implying that you have more than one and you are an expert on writing.

How did you manage to watch football for 50+ years when you are busy sitting exams for these degrees and writing all of these articles that you are being payed for and posting 1601 posts of the worlds worst stats on this message board ?

Also as you consider yourself an expert on writing do you think that makes you more observant when reading if so do you want to read the conditions of use for this website again

Conditions of Use

By entering the Hob Nob Anyone? discussion boards you agree to post messages in accordance with the following rules:

This thread was supposed to be about Tommy Smith.... it is not called The modesty of Snowball

IMAMATEOFJOVSKY Smith deal is dead in water ...case of brinkmanship going on and unless Smith puts in a transfer request, Watford are going to play hardball with us - They too have an Ego Chairman, and i think he feels being stiffed once is about his limit, Blackwell has thrown a total spanner in the works by bidding s huge amount that they don't even have - just goes to show that he's a total cock as well

Someone suggested to me that the offer we accepted for Lita last season fell through because they wanted to pay him something they knew he wouldn't accept, but that purely by putting a bid in for someone they could appease their fans. I've been wondering ever since they bid for Tommy Smith whether they really wanted him or whether they had an ulterior motive.

Seems like a stupid way to run a football club and get a bad reputation as timewasters.

Maybe so but it also seems stupid that when you know that an offer of £750k has been tabled, you then bid £1.8m !!!!

The Watford site said there'd been two other offers in excess of one million.

Maybe the 1.8 million was Euros?

It's not difficult, Big Mike. It involves things like not getting pissed out of my head seven nights a week.

If it matters I also write about 50,000 words a month and run a writing school

As for degrees and such, (3.5 but no PhD) those things only arose when I was challenged in some way.

eg It's a fact I DO know Statistics (not that the stats on here are much) and I did teach stuff like Multiple regression to UNI undergrads
and the fact came out because I was challenged over my knowledge of statistical reasoning

it's nothing to do with modesty or anything else.

If an ex-professional footballer comes on these boards (and I know he is)
then YES I will give more weight to his pronouncements.

Having played professionally is a better qualification than carrying a plastic tree to games.

^^ Look at me post..

You can take you 3.5 degrees and stick them up your arse.. 50,000+ words a month and a writing school. What kind of gimp boasts on a football messageboard...?

Although, saying that, I can never be bothered to read your posts the few times I bother coming back here as I have far better things to do like polishing my Aston and stroking my 12 inch cock...
