Royal With Cheese So, should I read this Tommy Smith thread or the other one?

'lista Snowball,
Getting the occasional 'reader's letter' published in Fiesta and Razzle does not a 'professional writer' make.

Royal Lady Why is SKB such an @rsehole lately - he keeps coming up with "facts" which don't materialise. Unless we DO sign Smith before midnight...

IMAMATEOFJOVSKY Smith deal is dead in water ...case of brinkmanship going on and unless Smith puts in a transfer request, Watford are going to play hardball with us - They too have an Ego Chairman, and i think he feels being stiffed once is about his limit, Blackwell has thrown a total spanner in the works by bidding s huge amount that they don't even have - just goes to show that he's a total cock as well

Ian Royal Seems like a stupid way to run a football club and get a bad reputation as timewasters.

Snowball The Watford site said there'd been two other offers in excess of one million.
Maybe the 1.8 million was Euros?

Snowball It's not difficult, Big Mike. It involves things like not getting pissed out of my head seven nights a week.
If it matters I also write about 50,000 words a month and run a writing school
As for degrees and such, (3.5 but no PhD) those things only arose when I was challenged in some way.
eg It's a fact I DO know Statistics (not that the stats on here are much) and I did teach stuff like Multiple regression to UNI undergrads
and the fact came out because I was challenged over my knowledge of statistical reasoning
it's nothing to do with modesty or anything else.
If an ex-professional footballer comes on these boards (and I know he is)
then YES I will give more weight to his pronouncements.
Having played professionally is a better qualification than carrying a plastic tree to games.
