Going purely on shirt numbers and intuition, which I appreciate isnt much, Im guessing that Long will start the first few games of the season to see if he's worth it. Given that Hunt could be injured and Lita is now dead, he could start alongside Church, but, in principal Im expecting Church to be gradually introduced to the team. Im thinking that Church may well have enough to permanently oust Long, but it wont be immediately.

Saying that, its all purely guesswork and I have no idea what Rodgers's plans are. So you can ignore all that if you like.

On the (very) little I've seen, I'd agree that Shane should be worried.

But I think a few friendlies means almost nothing. This is a tough league with the emphasis on TOUGH
and YOUNG Shane is probably too young to lead the line. So how young does that make Church? He's not Rooney.
