Charged twice for tickets!!!

by paultheroyal » 24 Jul 2009 17:20

Bank statement has come through and much to my dismay i noticed i have been charged twice i.e. £40 x 2 for Murty's testimonial.

Anyone else noticed this or had similar experiences. I booked on-line. Transaction reference is identical for both entries.

I guess its a case of going back to the club and fighting my case.

Can't see why you'd need to fight anything.

Just ring them up and they will sort it out.

Maybe, just maybe, paula, you did actually click on the ticket twice and you didn't notice you'd done it?

When I did mine on-line, I'd noticed that I'd booked the ticket twice and unselected one.

And anyway, wasn't the testimonal only £10, not £20?

Do you ever, EVER have anything constructive to say or you happy to be the clown?

Could it quite possibly be that i bought 4 tickets?

Anyway, just wanted to share this with others in case in same situation or not checked their statements.

Didn't all the money go to a good cause?

I think that you should take this one on the chin, paul.

yes he was charged £40 twice, so he bought 4 tickets at £10, and his transaction of £40 was processed twice, meaning they took £80 in error, when it should have been £40.

Jesus wept.

I'm sure the online system did this quite deliberately and Sir John has stolen the xtra 40 quid, literally robbing the fans, where will it all end?

paultheroyal i.e. £40 x 2 for Murty's testimonial.

RB, from that you would deduce that the tickets were £20, except that they were actually £10, therefore he purchased 4 tickets. Paula is the numpty here.

LOLZ

Not one to normally jump to Mr Theroyal's defence, at no point has he mentioned how many tickets he bought.

Destined to fail, Spacey.
