TBM Fulham striker Bobby Zamora has rejected a £5m move to Hull, becoming the fourth forward to turn down Tigers boss Phil Brown after Michael Owen, Fraizer Campbell, and Marc-Antoine Fortune all said no to a switch.

i looked up "hull" on google and found out that they were a side in the english premiership...i tried the same with "reading" but no results were returned..why do you think that is?

Since when did Reading try and sign Bobby Zamora, Michael Owen, Fraizer Campbell, and Marc-Antoine Fortune??! :| I dont understand your "argument"?

I wonder just how many of these players are thinking of Brown's pathethic "half-time dressing down on the pitch" as they decide not to join them.

They might also not want to be embarrassed by their coatch singing infront of millions watching.

Spurs demonstrate their usual level of quality in managing their staff - Bent was actually sitting on the plane on the runway ready to go on the pre-season tour to China when they signed Crouch and turfed him off the plane as he's now surplus to requirements!

At first I read that as 1.6 million and thought 'bloody hell Man City have actualy done some sensible good business'. 16million for Toure, hmmmm but then again in todays market its still a good signing.

Anti Niemi looks to be coming out of retirement to sign for Portsmouth. Cover for David James....What about Ashdown?

I'm worried Arsenal will not replace Toure or Adebayor and again Wenger will "rely on the kids" although i did just read that Vierra may come back as Arsenal are willing to offer him the same as what Spurs have.....i think its a no brainer who he'll choose!

Ashdown's well down the list. They've got another young keeper with a funny name that I can't be bothered to remember. Was on loan at Yeovil, even taller than Ashdown.

Also Bent got off the plane cause Spurs accepted Sunderland's bid, not because they signed Crouch.
