Very sorry to see it happen to any club, trouble is selling your best players to English clubs for fukc all with no sell-on clause isn't a good long term business model.

moo I wonder if they had kept the sell on clause they had on Doyle if they would have been able to stick around?

They'd probably have gone in January.
However, that could have saved us any payment since if they'd gone we wouldn;t have had to pay them anything.

Jackson Corner I have just been to Ireland and there football is a mess, Bohiemians the current champions are expected to go bust at the end of the season. Only Shamrock are expected to be the only club not to go part time from next season

Dirk Gently Reading bought out the sell-on clause in KD with a cash sum to Cork in November last year - I think for something like 200k Euros.

Do you think that's a bit immoral?
There's be invective being spouted on here if, say, Chelsea, did something similar to us with the Sidwell sell on clause if we were in dire straights.
