I`d love this to be true but weren`t Birmingham or someone after him recently and got got quoted around the £2.5m mark? I really can`t see us spending that sort of money (would love to be proved wrong though!!)

Actually, the Notts County website (notice no fullstop) has no fullstop. Therefore, your pedantry was extremely well placed.
