Tabb is 10x better than Harper, if you ask me.

The man may only be 4ft 7in but he NEVER backs out of a challenge and with Marek alongside him its a perfect combination.

Be very sad to see the back of Harper, but we're blessed with plenty of decent midfielders and whilst I think he's easily good enough to be first choice and would fit our style perfectly, if he's not going to be playing regularly then I couldn't blame him for wanting a move.

£2m sounds about right for him as well. Although disappointing we'll only get a portion of that.

The silver lining is anything that means Davies, Karacan or Siggurdsson are more likely to play is alright by me.

Pocketing £1.2m is great business. As you rightly mention, we have some very good midfielders here. If the Sale of Harper and Hunt leads to Smith and another coming in, bravo!

brendywendy harps is a flipping legend
and one of my favourite players ever
id be gutted if he went

but this deal would make sense for him, and the club

Share your views and would be sad to see him go but it would be a great move for Harps and he would know half the bloody playing staff there as well.

I shall be sorry to see Harps go. He has always given 100% and I have always felt that he took a lot of flack unfairly as a result of being asked to play a particular role under SC. However he is one of the high erners that we need to move on and whilst we will only get a modest share of the xfer fee it will make a major contribution to the cuts needed in the wages budget.

Mr Angry What is it with Wolves and our 106 squad??

Do you think they might decide that Kitson is worth a punt?

And Shorey?

Oh, and they are also thinking of a slight change to their home strip.......blue and white hoops.

Quite logical really-they would be delighted to finish 8th this season.
Shorey would be a good buy for them IMHO.

I'll probably boo Hunt to start off and then when he leaves I'll move onto Rosenior and Kebe

Was saying after the Chelsea game that as much as i love Harps, his time with us may be up, can't see him fitting in the way Rodgers wants to play.

I can understand some of the criticism he attracts but for me Harper is still one of our better players. He's also one of our few senior pro's with the experience and know how of how to get a result and see a season through and, unlike the other experienced players we have, he's as fit as a fiddle.

I think it'd be a crying shame if we lost him and I think he really could flourish under a new manager who looks to be getting the spark back.

On the other hand I think Harper might need a fresh challenge and I could understand if Rodgers was looking to remove as much of the 106 squad as possible to further freshen up the squad and make it his own.

Still, I think those that are being critical of Harper are being very short sighted and probably don't really appreciate what Harper can do, on and off the pitch, for the team and for the squad as a whole.

The progression is defo Hunt -> Rosenior. I'm not sure about Kebe though, think he's underrated. Will prolly turn my attentions to one of the young player once they have two bad games in a row, just to destroy their confidence. HRK most likely candidate.

That works too, it's definitely easier to boo a black player

I've already started to boo Shane Long for the simple fact he has a massive arse and when he runs he doesn't move his arms, they just stay by his side.

He's got a stupid run, it really annoys me. I'm also irked by that gap in his teeth, his fatness, and the fact that he's shit at football.

But don't worry, he'll breakthrough next season (as we've been saying every year for four years)

Maybe we could get Paul Brooker back. He was worthy of booing. Probably even having knives thrown at him.
