Why is it I can actually forsee the Brum rumour being true, and more importantly, him leaving us at the last minute to go up there....

We could have not given S Hunt 25k a week and paid him 25p to piss off instead and not signed Halford and Fae and crap like Sodje, Bennett and Duberry and instead brought in two decent players which would have easily kept us up with the money saved on those clowns.

I'd take £1m + McSheffry for Shunt!

In fairness I'd be happy with a straight swap.

Royal Lady Did he refuse to spend his budget though? Or was his budget not big enough to bring in the players he considered better than what we already had?

Guess which one you're desperate to believe and which Chairman, back in the Championship, thanks to Coppell, and looking down the barrell at a huge lose of revenue to add to £50m that's already gone up in smoke who is STILL prepared to pay £2m for one player.

iirc Brum had a bid of £1.5m turned down in January. A bit odd if they've waited 6 months to get promoted and 'til the very last minute to try and up their bid....

Gazzer broke this one and when he did said we had a back up, so even in the unlikely event B'ham have gazzumped us, we have another iron in the fire.

I can't believe this thread has descended into fukwitsville with the RL v Woodcote and Finerain v Brendy idiocy contest. I won't say this often, but RL is coming out of this one looking like einstein in comparison to the others.

Much like all the other Einsteins who descended on a certain parking space.

If Birmingham are interested, and the offer is suitable for Doncaster, if I was him I'd be very interested in what they had to say.

Not now though, he can leave if they go down.
If I was him, I'd see what they have to say at least.

He could regret it.

I'm not reading all that - especially on BlackBerry. Have we bought Friar Tuck yet or not?

And when is the Gypo off? To whom? For how much? And do we trouser a couple of million and a half decent player like McSheffrey or Nugent?

I would guess either he is about to/has signed, or he is in Birmingham.
