Even if the colour was a better one than the green, it looks boring :)

Worst away kit for a few years IMO.

Royal Rother
silas Quite posibly one of the worst kits I have ever seen, and thats saying something after last seasons orange mess

What a bizarre comment. It's plain and unfussy - inoffensive really, so how it can conjure up such passion is beyond me....

Now this one on the other hand...

I hate it, its horrible. If it didn't have the lime green shorts it would be 'plain and unfussy', however the players won't be wearing without the shorts will they!

I like the colour - no-one else is using it.

It'll be mauve next season...

Dan - B15 Royal
MINI With the away kit being white, I assume the orange kit will be kept as a 3rd choice, with games against West Brom and Preston coming to mind as potential clashes with both the home and away shirts. (am a fan of the away shirt though!)

I assume the Orange will be worn at Sheffield Wednesday and QPR too? Also, the orange may be worn at Peterbrough/leicester? I assume that depends if the officilas deem the home kits containing too much white on their kits to clash with our away top.

With this in mind, it seems this shirt will get very few outings which is a shame.

There has been a mixing of kits in the past. Can anyone photoshop the home shirt with away shorts?

Our traditional away colours has always been either red or yellow. I don't like this green colour. It looks like the colour of sick/bogies.

This was pre-agreed on signing a sponsorship with Waitrose. To be honest, it really doesn't look bad at all. The white shirt is lovely, the green, well that's just green. I'm not a fan of the colour, but it's a tidy kit. Have you seen Newcastle's yellow and they're other away kit they worse at the weekend? Black and blue stripes I think it was, with blue shorts. Some terrible kits around this season, and Reading lead the way with that home kit.

Or orange, or burgundy, or grey/ black , or blue / yellow

There is no such thing as a 'traditional' away kit.

Deathy Still wont waste money

Lies.

FWIW I'll admit that I think the kit looks pretty good. It's not that much of a surprise to see corporate branding crossover into our football strip (I assume they've used the official "Waitrose green" in the kit?) and whilst green is never going to be your first choice colour, second kits are their to be played with and it looks alright.

Saw the kit today in Sports Soccer. 'Orrible.

I did LOL @ a bloke about 16 or 17 walking out the megastore with it on and thinking he was the nuts.

I think they should have resurrected the 2002/2003 away kit.

The new shirt is actually quite good on it's own without the bogie rag shorts. Almost wearable away from the ground...
I thought the orange kit was particularly special, although I have to admit I wouldn't be seen dead in it myself...
And I vote the 106 home shirt as the best I've actually worn but maybe that's just sentimental value...

We should have a carrier bag day where we all wear bottomless waitrose bags.
