If he does sign this would be great for us.
I guess this would rule out a bid for Zenden then.

moo Hull are getting RIPPED off, this is glorious.

Problem is, Hulls a dump, and the number of transfers that have broken down on personal terms when negotiating a deal to Hull I wouldnt be suprised if this falls through. Have they even scouted Hunt, or is this purely on reputation to please the fans of Hull after a grotty summer?

Hull have already missed out deals for Bobby Zamora, Daryl Murphy and Fraizer Campbell this summer after agreeing fees.

Hull is no dump. Simple as

You clearly haven't been there.

It is pretty obvious that SHunt's lies anywhere other than Reading, so a move to Hull is in everyone's best interest.

Second half of 2009-10 season?:

"Please, Mr. Brown, as you haven't played me for a while, do you tink dat Reading might take ma back on loan?"

Hull Chairman: "But Mr. Brown left the club in November!"

Oh my word - how fantastic!!

I look forward to seeing him run around with no end product for Hull. I hope he doesn't cry too much if they're relegated.

That whole thread is mental... They can't all be serious, surely?!

Some are worried about being gazumped - So I assume they don't know, that no one came in for him as his get out clause was too high. Really - DON'T worry about being gazumped.

On this note, why was he left out Saturday? I assume he didn't fit BR team? He can't be injured or he won't pass the medical.

Yet another massive profit from a Coppell signing, WR won't be happy, after all it is thanks to SC that we are as stable as we are now, all that dosh coming in from cheap signings.

I doubt much of the transfer money will be made available but I live in hope. It will certainly reduce the wage bill as he was the highest paid player at the club.

Did they watch his post Christmas form? Have they not noticed that by the time he left he was being kept out of the team by Jimmy Kebe?!?!?!

Because he was going to be sold. Pretty standard when a deal is on that they have a 'groin problem'.

Good in the first half of the season, shit in the second half. Hunt and Hull should be a perfect match.

I wonder if we had to wait to get Hunt off our hands before we could up our bid for Smith? :|

I do hope SHunt going won't affect NHunt adversely though.

I'll say £2.5m, no more no less.

TBH I would be happy if we got £1m for him. A great player on his day but unfortunately for us he hasn't had a good day for a long time.

Wow, it really is a new era then.

Such an overrated player. I'm over the moon. Can't wait to see the fee - I'd be happy with anything over £1.5m. Not that it's going to go on new players, but I want us to be doing good business.

And bless Hull. Just goes to show a) what a strange idea other Premiership clubs have got of his quality and b) just how desperate Hull are. Good luck to them, but I can't see Hunt saving them from the drop.
