Sir Dodger Royal Are you prepared to wait two or three years watching the Royals getting stuffed?
Sure why not, Did it before, will do it again. At least we'll get to see who the loyal fans are as the plastics decide to spend their Saturdays in Ikea instead.

Us proper fans love a good moan and we've not had much chance to do that under the previous manager.

Well said FL. True supporters are content as long as they can see that the club has a sound development plan in place and will be prepared to accept that a young team is bound to suffer some set backs in the short term if it is to achieve long term success.

It depends what you mean by short term.

Once you are bottom three the confidence goes even more so with a bunch of kids.

Remember we were top four and couldn't and still haven't won a home league game since January.

SDR is not into waiting. He expects results. Top two or Nothing. Certainly not bottom two.

Brenda get your whip to the Madman. Whatever it takes to solicit some dosh for players worthy to wear the RFC shirt.

FiNeRaIn Yeah- I pay for my season tickets now, im really not looking to wait 2/3 years to see a capable side again.

I doubt he would be foolish enough to say that SDR.

Flog it then. Perhaps you can go and watch that Scottish shit.

If only they moved ibrox to berkshire

Seriously though, no manager is stupid enough to expect fans to wait 2/3 years for a team to be able to perform. If the youngsters aren't ready now, get some people in until then.

Way to prove you know nothing about football - you sound like a spoilt little kid. Guess there's a reason for that.....................

No, its you know knows nothing about football. Football is played today, not in 2/3 years time. If you expect fans to wait 2/3 seasons to see a competant team, you are a moron of the highest order and should go and follow rugby.
I am fine with playing a few kids, id love to have some academy prospects. However, playing half your academy in one game against season pro's is a bit ridiculous, there needs to be a blend of experienced players and youth prospscts.
Your insults are quite pathetic by the way, if you are going to belittle someone at least try and have an argument as to why.

Deathy - what is it with you? You say on other threads that we need to drop Rosenior, we need more players - have a general moan, then you say you're prepared to wait 2/3 years as per this thread. Make your mind up.

This is hilarious, you've invented an entire line of reasoning that isn't discernable from anything the manager said.

"We will see development over the next 2/3 seasons" is not "This team will take 2/3 seasons to be competent"

Whats hilarious is you have completely misunderstood. The team wasn't competant yesterday- thats my opinion not a quotation from the manager, that needs to be addressed NOW, not over 2/3 seasons. I haven't invented anything, so what an odd statement from your own mis-understanding. I'd hope we'd see a development over 2/3 seasons for crying out loud- thanks for stating the obvious BR.

What happend yesterday was a vastly more expeirenced team hitting a bit of form in the second half taking advantage of some naive defending and stopped us playing by closing us down quicker.

The youngsters were ok for the first 30 mins but Newcastle got more in to the game as it went on and got some confidence to take the game to Reading. Our problem was doing nothing in the final third which needs to be addressed by adding to the squad.

Let's be realistic here if this side can finish in the top 10 they will have done well this season. Success doesn't come instantly if Brendan is given 2-3 seasons to work with these lads and add quality additions like Matt Mills along the way we will be a very dangerous side in this division and one that should be really pushing for promotion.

Be patient people.

Nothing there about the performance yesterday, if you saw the game last week you saw a competent display that lacked goals.

This week you saw a young team beaten by a experienced one.

OH NO!!!
