1960 I used to pay a couple of quid to stand at Elm Park, I don't pay £22 to stand. I pay £22 to sit. Because you prefer to stand that makes me a cock apparently. Because you can't accept that different people have different preferences that makes you a bigger cock.

Royal Lady I remember only one shot, can't even remember who it was by, that was yards wide - certai nly not "on target" by any stretch of the imagination. You have to remember that half these hacks who report on games weren't even there!

Jerry St Clair Just to add something else into this ecletic mix, did any of the players make any effort to come over and applaud the supporters at the end?
That's not to say I'm particularly bothered. It's a largely empty gesture (with the honourable exceptions of messrs Hahnemann, Murty and Salako in the past who seemed like they genuinely cared). But it would have been nice.
As far as I could tell the only person who even acknowledged our presence was Brendan.

Scarface The facts are already there, 2 league games and no goals. A front 3 of Kebe, Long and Church/HRK is simply not good enough and I fear we're really going to struggle to stay in this division. However, add in NHunt and hopefully 2 new signings and it's not all doom and gloom yet.

Magicman Well I just got back, that is a long way and i didnt exactly head straight home.
Well what a great place, in fact the only thing that ruined the weekend was the football.
Surely thats going to be the hardest away game of the season and we just werent ready for an away game like that, they did not let us play our new style of football and nor should they as the home side.
No one stood out for us really which speaks volumes the captain should of got hold of a few of them and giving them a verbal blasting, as for the second goal that was a joke.
But I didnt expect to win so it wasnt a big surprise except the fact we let in 3.
Looking forward to seeing Mills in defence soon and Marek in midfield so we actually have some creativity
Anyway its good to be back
