rg6royal .................Fed......................
Ros.....Mills....Pearce.....Armstrong
......Harper...Karacan.....Tabb......
Davies................................HRK
................Nhunt....................

NHunt is due a start and will add alot to us going forward. Hopefully see Armstrong get back in the team as well, afterall, he was out player of the season last season! Also, give Mills a run out.

So for that reason alone he should be in our team??????

Bertrand was our best player v the Toon, and is 2x the player Stretch will ever be.

that is laughable, and grossly underestimates stretch, and puts way too much emphasis on bertys potential

yes he did look class on saturday, but thats a bit different to putting in a whole season of good performances

there is room in th eteam for both though IMO

I've posted on this thread already but I've changed my mind:

Federici

Rosenior
Mills
Pearce
Bertrand

Karacan

Matejovsky
Tabb

Robson-Kanu
Henry/Church/Kebe/Long

Hunt

Not a bad mix of experience in there, with Hunt up top and able to hold the ball. Matejovsky threading the balls and Mills generally believed to be better than Cisse at the back.

He isn't twice the player Armstrong will ever be. Armstrong is currently much stronger than him defensively imo.

Based on what?

I still haven't seen Bertrand skinned by anyone yet, and hasn't been at fault for any of the goals scored against us. Add to that he's got much more pace and is considerably better on the ball, I fail to see why anyone would want Armstrong playing.

-----------------Federici----------------

Rosenior----Mills----Pearce----Strech

---------Karacan--------Tabb-----------

H.R.K--------Matejovsky-------Plastic

--------------Long/Hunt*--------------

Hunt if fit.

Try Plastic out on the left wing, and see how he goes.

Good news Kebe isn't fit to play - so at least it won't be all his fault if we lose. Royalee will have to come up with someone else to blame - sure it'll be Rosenior or Long.

Armstrong, Kebe, Hunt, Marek, Kelly, Bignall, all unlikely to be fit enough to be considered for tonight according to OS.

Bonus with Kebe out.
Not so bonus with Marek and Hunt out.
Reckon we'll probably go:

Robson-Kanu ---- Church
------------ Long ----------

with Hunt on second half.

The good news, apart from Kebe being unfit,is that the whole of Swansea's first choice midfield are injury doubts.
With Jason Scotland and Gomez both gone this really is a great chance to pick up some points if we are to do anything in this early part of the season.

Well this is it, getting trounced by Newcastle was disappointing but obvious, Swansea I don't think will be half as good as they were last year,if Reading can't cope better with them tonight then early alarm bells may ring. I fancy a draw tonight to be honest.

I think we will beat them if we repeat the Newcastle performance.
