P3 F0 A?

by Forest Gump » 18 Aug 2009 21:42

Now where are: Kitson, Doyle, Lita...

I notice that Tommy Smith scored tonight - how much is he worth now?

Reading (unambitious, short-sighted, f'king hopeless)

Signing a player isn't as easy as it is on football manager as I imagine some of you are comparing it to. I have no doubt the club are looking to bring in a couple of attacking players but are looking for the right terms. Yes, our strike rate is abysmal, but can you honestly say that professional coaches and management cant see this and are just going to let it slide by. We still have more than a week of the transfer deadline left FFS!

Dont let others hear that on here, some people think BR is the right man, and we should give him time and that playing poor school age children, playing 1 up front and buying one defender is the way forward

LOL - GOING DOWN, League 1 here we come.

That's the bigger issue. Sometimes you can hve a run of games where you do everything but score, but reading haven't made 1 keeper in those 3 games make a save.

Forest have been hammered at home by WATFORD today, Swansea had been hit 3-0 at home saturday, no saves for either. That is atrocious to be honest.

its far too early to be getting this restless, the team needs time to bed in a get used to a different system of football.

But, the 1st 3 games have been utterly atrocious and if he doesn't sort this by the end of the transfer window then i will whole heartedly agree with the comments being made.

Quietly confident things will massively improve, but also very concerned we are gonna do a Southampton. Rodgers quickly needs to do what his slightly hairlipped mouth says.

The guy had only played 135 minutes of football in the last 3 months. Give him time. There's a reason we paid that much money.

How can you be quietly confident and very concerned? Nothing like hedging your bets is there?

Wasting money on shit players is not being tight. Keep up with the argument. It's really not that complicated.

Right so now we are buying potential now are we?!?!

Great that means in 2 years time we will be the best in League 1 (or 2)

We have let 5/6 experianced players go (all of which could walk into a game and play) and replaced them with player who has played 135 minutes in 3 months, but got great potential!! He must have potential as he has been slated for last night on BBC Berks and on here, so its certainly not for his form.

I disagree. Davies had a shot saved against Forest, Simon Church had a header saved by Newcastle. Stop lying.

Sorry but considering what Reading have made in the sales of Doyle, Hunt, Bikey I think buying ONE player for 2 mil is tight... Is that it our investment in the team for the 2009/10 season? WOW... The rest of the championship must be worrying....

Other teams have invested and pushed hard but Reading will always try and do things on the cheap... We'd still be a premiership team now if we have only invested in a couple of seasoned pro's in January 2008, instead we didn't, our final push was rubbish, Doyle couldn't score and we got relegated because we were loosing to the likes of Bolton at home..

Sorry but no drive, no ambition, no premiership!!!

What's new the problem of scoring goals has been their for ages. Last year we were very reliant on Stephen Hunt's delivery from a set piece or corner to score.

Clubs have worked us out with the managmenet failing to sort the issue on the pitch.

Another blank against Shefiield Utd this weekend.
