Of course we are. It's Coppell selling all our good players, of course it is.

Err, no.

Look at the club before and after Coppell's appointment.

I would kill to have him back now

Ideal I say he has to go! Inept tactics, not enough experience, we'll get relegated with this joker in charge.

Piss off.

Ha ha - good comeback. Feeling a little dejected Royalee or is everything still rosy in your garden?

Rodgers is improving the way we play and we dominated the first half - it's not his fault we haven't bought the two attacking players he wants yet. May I remind you that we haven't had a home win since January with Rodgers only being in charge for two of the games. As I said before today's game it will take a while, although I'd rather watch some of this than the dross I observed at the end of last season - everybody knows me need to improve up front and the club is working on this. Madejski needs to spend money, but he will IMO.

Without a home win since January and serving up relegation form since the turn of the year? Massive difference!

RoyaLOLee, you're deluded, but I admire your unstinting support for everything Rodgers and the club are doing.

This must be the most pathetic thread ever to be written on HNA?

And not just because of the spelling error in the title.

No, you're just very short-sighted. I will be concerned if Madejski doesn't back Rodgers in signing two players, otherwise we will be fine.

What an utterly ridiculous poll. I have just slated Rodgers on another thread but you always have to give a manager some time at least to see if he can get things right!

This poll doesn't surprise me from the thread starter because he talks a lot of shit anyway.

Sometimes you say something positive and constructive, but other times you're just a bit of a knob.

Coppell didn't leave this club in a mess and the Rodgers/Madejski combo isn't dragging it to it's knees. This is a period of transition and patience is required.

However, as I much as I can that Rodgers can bring a lot to Reading, he needs to learn flexibility. One of the greatest criticisms of Coppell was that he didn't change a system that wasn't working. We were 2-1 down with 15 to go and we were screaming out for another forward. He left it and left it and then tried to make a pointless substitution in central midfield.

I like Harper, but he wasn't the answer at that stage. I'm not a fan of Henry and it's still early days for HRK, but an attacking player was required at that point.

I appreciate that it's important to have a plan and a system so that everyone knows what they're doing, but there often comes a time when Plan B needs to be put into operation. We needed that plan at 75mins today, but it never came, nor looked like coming.

I think you are being very ambitious that you think

a) two players will arrive in a week

and if by a miracle they do,

b) they are going to suddenly turn around these Bulivant-esque performances

When old offski is fit, we'll be more likely to score, and with Hunt starting today, we're getting back to having some experience in the line up.

But the kids are playing very well, Sig was brilliant today. Davis is beginning to impress, Karacan was excellent. W're getting there, it just takes time.

Disagree.

Sheff united showed us too much respect in the first half as the mad stad has been a fortress for us for a long time against them, I'm not sure they knew what to expect. They got a good kick up the arse at half time and came out looking like a professional, organised team in the second half. We were hammered and it could have been 4/5 in the end. Last season they won 1-0 here and fluked it, they were lucky. This season they fully deserved their win and the gaps between the two sides has widened greatly. They'll be top 6 again and we'll be bottom 6. Not even 1/2 panic signings will help us, we've broken our sand castle too much im afraid.

According to Mick Gooding, Marek is fit - Rodgers just not playing him, he's surplus to requirements or something. :|
