shoey lol @ the 84 posts for tommy smith, oh now 85 wit me

He would have been, or could still be a decent reading player, but I think we will cope much the same with or without him.

He would have made an impact, as his stats would suggest, but one man aint no team

LOL. This whole thing has been a disaster and Rodgers is currently looking like a total prick.

Happy to take my medicine if the reports made have been wrong.

The problem is this Tommy Smith saga has come to represent all that has been wrong for some time with our transfer policy. It's not really about the player and whether we get him or not, but the dismal way we have gone about it and penny pinched ultimately to our own expense. Plus the fact he was BRs number one target so this represents our BEST efforts to secure a player. And of course the fact that NO other players have been touted at all so most likely we will have a couple of panic buys over the next week that could prove even more costly.

All his blab about world class models, getting to the prem this year, the players saying they've learnt masses from him in a real short time. Saying Smith wanted to come to us. Now saying he hasn't gone anywhere, when all recent evidence points to him clutching at straws. Attacking football... Not sure we've seen that this season.

greed it has gone on to long etc, BUT look at the lescott to city deal, if you want you man, you keep @ it!

we might lose out this time, but the good players, you will struggle to get, as there aint many out there.

I just hope we got more targets

i'm quite positive we'll draw Pompey in the 3rd round of the FA cup and it'll be Smith who scores 1 or 2 that knocks us out :|

Falling on deaf ears I'm afraid - an awful lot of of people have fallen for the patter of a Manager with the selling skills and the Contractual Integrity of a Tenerife Time Share Salesman

There've been no rumours on UFRG, so there can't be any serious targets!

How not to conduct a transfer by rfc. It would never have happened in coppells day. A shambles. That said things are getting better on the pitch. I hope.
