Ryn Sings *Doom doom doom and gloom* over and over...

Mid table maybe pushing for playoffs, and mid table fending off relegation are two very different situations to be in.

Look at the squad, how many of our starters have at least one season of recent Championship experience under their belts, where there were starting most weeks?

Rosenior, Kebe, Long, Mills, Bertrand. Even some of those are pushing it.

Federici - back up goalie last season.
Pearce - a few games in the first team last year.
Cisse - a bit part player last year.
Tabb - got the second half of the season.
Gunnar - bit part.
Harper - lots of games over the last few years, seems he has no role this season.
Marek - International experience. Vanished.
Robson-Kanu - reserves
Karacan - a few first team games. Lightweight.
Church - A few appearances. Some nothing games at the International level.
Bignall - Reserves
Noel Hunt - played second fiddle to Doyle last year, wasted stuck out on the right wing
Gylfi - Reserves

Am I missing anyone?

WTF are you on about?

Federici - back up goalie last season
Got a long period between the sticks when Hahnemann was injured, proved he was capable at this level.

Pearce - a few games in the first team last year.
Played a number of games for us while Ingimarsson was injured/Bikey was suspended, also went on loan to Southampton to try help them

Cisse - a bit part player last year.
Played the majority of games in the first half, along with Harper. Scored that wonder goal, remember? Also played in defense when called on.

Tabb - got the second half of the season.
Played the other half for Coventry...

Gunnar - bit part.

Harper - lots of games over the last few years, seems he has no role this season.
But had a major role last season...

Marek - International experience. Vanished.
Injured last season, played when Karacan/Harper/Cisse weren't.

Robson-Kanu - reserves
Sent out on loan to Swindon, I believe...

Karacan - a few first team games. Lightweight.
Lightweight, yet energetic and gets into the tackle, which makes "lightweight" seem unimportant.

Church - A few appearances. Some *delete* games at the International level.

Bignall - Reserves

Noel Hunt - played second fiddle to Doyle last year, wasted stuck out on the right wing
Second fiddle? He played alongside him for the majority of the season, until he was injured...

Gylfi - Reserves

So, to conclude, you're talking almost complete and utter Aldersh*t.

Dirk Gently The only way is up ....

I wish that were true. However, there is also a down route available. Just think we might only be 1 division away from Oxford if things continue like this....

Dorset-Knob "Slow start" is to my mind at least, a bit like a man falling from the top of the Empire State building telling people floor by floor on the way down that everything is OK so far................... ing!

Well said that man.

But you don't disagree with the majority of my points.

I agree that we're looking mostly at mid-table "dull and uninspiring" finish, but to say the majority of players haven't had much Championship experience is silly. No, they haven't had entire seasons, but enough to show they are capable at this level.

Two signings in that we may not have made if we had lucked into 10 points instead of just two. If we can add a few more we might turn this thing around yet!

True seahawk, I think they were on the radar anyway, but they can only make a positive impact now!
