McAnuff [watford] and Rasiak [soton] have now signed for us.

Play offs suddenly become a possibility?

Whoopy-fucking-do. I am seriously underwhelmed. Relegation looms for this shambles of a club.

We haven't even officially signed them yet though have we?

I just relayed the news to Schards as he's been out all morning. The air was blue I tell thee. :|

Now I've heard all this before and I'm not gonna be tempted to even get excited by this. I would say I'm just excited that we maybe signing 2 players even though they ent even that good but I'm gonna resist the temptation

Decent experience added to the squad.
They may not be the most prolific of goal scorers and the most amazing of midfielders, but both can cut it at Championship level and will undoubtedly add experience where it is most needed.
McAnuff was fantastic for Watford last season under Rodgers', and Rasiak played well.
Decent signings, especially for 900k less than Smith.

Please stop talking about play-offs. It's just plain silly. A top half finish would be at the best, hopeful.

READING look set to complete the signings of Jobi McAnuff and Grzegorz Rasiak.

Having missed out number target Tommy Smith after the Watford striker performed an 11th hour u-turn to join Premier League Portsmouth earlier this week, the Royals have moved quickly to sign two other players with proven Championship ability.

Midfielder McAnuff arrives from Watford, while Polish international striker Rasiak has made the switch from League One crisis club Southampton, with both players reportedly having medicals at Reading today (Thursday).

Rasiak looks set to come straight into the Reading squad for their trip to Barnsley this Saturday, although McAnuff is nursing is a slight knock and might have to wait to make his Royals debut.

Royals boss Brendan Rodgers knows McAnuff from his days as manager at Watford, while Rasiak was also on loan at Vicarage Road from the Saints last season.

A very poorly written piece.

Right, ok, they may not capture your imaginations, but talk about writing players off even before they have kicked a ball for Reading!!!

Me, I like a bit of adversity.

But then I've got some faith, patience and balls, unlike most of the contributors on here these days.

Bunch of "woe is me" pussies the lot of ya!

See you at Stag Meadow on Saturday?

two utterly utterly shite signings, so these two are supposed to make up for all the exits of decent players

it's like selling your BMW and reassuring the wife that you'll get a quality motor to replace it and then wheeling out a clapped out Nissan Sunny

 Typical HNA?
Writing players off before they even pull on the shirt.
