Tyson picked up a corner flag bearing the Forest emblem and waved it in celebration in front of the 4,376 travelling Derby fans in the Bridgford End - an incident which the Football Association will investigate.
After Tyson's celebrations, Rams players Dean Leacock and Gary Teale confronted the striker for inciting the Derby fans behind the goal.

That caused the majority of the rest of both squads to rush over and get involved as stewards fought to keep supporters off the pitch.

A Football Association spokesman has said the organisation will be investigating the incidents "as a matter of urgency".

As RR said, savage got up and ran off despite being provoked by three forest players yesterday, showing good discipline. Grabbing your balls is juvenile and probably meant as a laugh.

Tyson is a nice lad but just lost the plot there as claridge said. He wasn't the only one yesterday tho, someone for gillingham or someone celebrated in front of some fans and sparked someone running on the pitch as well in the lower leagues, can't remember the name.

Tyson was a cock. Simple as. Firstly he was lucky not to get a yellow, or a red for running over and shoving Savage, in what looked like his throat. Only reason he got away with it is because the ref was dealing with the other Forest Moron who'd shoved Savage.

All credit to Savage for walking away and doing nothing to try and get the two sent off.

Secondly, what on earthdid he think he was doing taking the corner flag and waving it around past all the Derby fans? Crying out for disciplinery action and personally I'm very disappointed a former Reading player was the problem there.

As for Savage ALLEGEDLY waving parts of his anatomy at the Forest fans, there is no evidence this happened, and even if it did I'd quite like to know what the Forest fans had been chanting at him first, if anything.

If you're going to dish it out, expect something back from a player like Savage. And before the game, tensions are going to be fairly low so I don't think it's much of an issue as long as it's clearly a response to banter and meant light heartedly.

Saying that, both clubs should be punished for the players reactions after the game. But Tyson in particular.
