Nice to see he chose us over other clubs. Shows we still hold our reputation as a decent club to pay at.

IMAMATEOFJOVSKY Confirmed as a 3 month loan deal ...if we are going to get the benefit, would of thought at least 6 months deal would have been a better option

What if 6 months wasn't an option?

Anyway I'm sure it will be looked at at the end of the loan spell. If Celtic don't need him and both O'Dea and us want his to stay until the end of the season it will be extended.

3 months takes us up to the next window at which point all parties can look at the situation and decide what the best route forward is.

Or that we wanted to play Bignall in the FA Cup?

What's that got to do with the length of O'Dea's loan?

The 5 month deal is likely to coincide with the length of time that Armstrong will be out recuperating from the knee op...acting as cover and also enabling us to allow Ivar to not have to rush back...

Also playing 3 CBs in a 3-5-2 is possibly a formation BR is thinking of playing...allowing us to over run the midfield with pacey wing backs...which we now seem to have an abundance of ...Rosey, Bertrand, Kebe, McAnuff, Henry, Robson-Kanu....

Have you taken your medication today? It's 4 months until January, and only two of those players are wing backs.

Kebe dropping back to defend

Perhaps two of them didn't work out.

Also perhaps it's only nearly 12 and the window doesn't shut till 5!

Great signing IMHO and it's great that for once Reading got in with the first announcement of a confirmed signing on transfer deadline day (well, it was the second one to be exact, but close enough). :D

Don't think it'll be the last either - here's hoping....

This is so much better, gone are the days of the Coppell non-activity and now we have the old Burns' rush...
