If this is true, what happened to all the bollox about Reading 'Till I Die 'n all that?

Ah well, we'll just have to keep an eye on the Sports Centre update. Smoking Kills Dancing Doe may just end up laughing his nuts off yet then.

Is the boy any good though? You lot saw Harding last year, crap defender, got pace which normally got him out of trouble. I'm lead to believe Rosenior is a exactly the same.

Deathy I thought when he came here, after impressing at Fulham, that we had a bright up and coming right back. A former England U21 talking about breaking into the full national squad. Instead, we get someone who talks a good game but is utterly terrible at playing it.
He's forever being caught out of position, he gives the ball away so so often as well, and he's forever shrugging his shoulders. I don't know if Kelly is fully fit, or even up to it yet, but Liam Rosenior is awful and is huge weakness is a young and new defence.

Hope you are pleased with his departure. Just hope we don't live to regret it.

First, I can't stand Rosenior, just to clear it up.

My (slightly biased) opinion is:

He has pace and he is good at tackling and blocking. He has a good cross on him, but it can be a little hit and miss sometimes.
He has a slightly suspect mentality, earning cheap bookings and getting sent off stupidly once or twice last season. I'm not convinced by his concentration levels or positioning when it comes to defending. His passing varies from ok, to atrocious.

Oh, he's also a media whore and knows how to talk the talk. "I wanna be England's next right back. I'm better than Micah Richards. We've all learnt masses from Rodgers in just a couple of weeks. I wanna get back to the Prem with Reading" etc etc. Never really gives me the impression it's anything other than words.

Excellent, just what we need. Another defender who can't pass.

79Royal We're prepared to let Harper and Rosenior go, but keep Kebe?

I shall have to point out the bleedin' obvious that some eejits would have to actually want Kebe for him to go anywhere. Who would be so foolish on the other hand is highly debatable.

Add to that - that his heading as a defender is non-existent. I do think though that his technical/attacking ability is superior to most RB at this level, it's just that his final product is very 50:50, sometimes good, often woeful.

Did you watch the Barnsley game? We scored three goals and Kebe was involved in all three ... your Kebe bashing really gets on my nerves.

Tis sadly true. Does have this very annoying habit of the ball hitting his shin and bouncing into touch/opposition (then looks all suspicious at the surface/player/crisp bag/rogue advertising hoarding.) Doesn't do what it advertised on the tin.

Are we sure this is happening? He was on SSN yesterday ruling out a move to Hull saying he didn't want to go anywhere. Strikes me that if he has gone then, like Harper, he had no choice. So who is going to be our Right Back then? Kelly's not ready surely? Can Bertrand play on the right?

The Rodgers Revolution continues I suppose....I hope it's not the peasants revolting soon.

Can't O'Dea play anywhere across the back 4? All the "is Mills or Pearce gonna make way" debate has been answered now!
