Agent BaltiDeathy Prat. Look at the bigger picture! Huge wages, next summer no chute payments. We will be fine next summer as a result of the sales. Rodgers mean time can and is adding to the squad, being supported well in the market by the chairman, and all on a sensible wage structure once again. That is after all the main thing, unless of course you want to see us drop down the leagues with huge debts and points deductions for administration. We're in alright shape, have a side with some decent youngsters in it. We wont win promotion this season or next, probably, but so what? I'm more than happy with a young competitive squad in mid-table of this division!
Not one to ever accuse Jay of any plagiarism, but I pretty much wrote the same thing - oooh about 3 weeks ago.

howser I find myself stuck between various opinions on here, yes we have a great bunch of young players with enormous potential and in Brenden Rodgers, someone who is going to be a great manager, I trust him completely to nurture, teach and bring the best out of them, the perfect man for the job !! . But we were in the Premiership not so long ago, with a first season that gave us "long term" supporters great hope for the future, we have crowds of a similar amount several in the top league, and they seem to survive without any threats of administration etc ........... we had the perfect base after the first Premiership season to move forward, but through December and January of the second year we were clearly struggling, and done nothing to stop the slide, and the inevitable happened , again last season, after receiving all the plaudits as the best team in the league early season, we again struggled after Christmas and similarly to the previous season we failed to capitalise on the good start, we bought in Little, never the same as he was first time around, and Kitson who, at the time, couldn't hit a horses ass with a barn door. We totally failed to build on our success of the first Pemiership year, so whose fault was that ? It wasnt just bad luck or have the unintelligent of those amongst us read the script totally wrong ?? I have been watching this club for more years than I care to remember, and had thought we had finally made it to the pinacle of our ambitions, but have been let down by some bad decisions, but by who ? that is a question that will never be answered. There is no doubt the exclusion of our 106 side was going to happen, probably not before time either, we have needed a good overhaul for a while now, so the moves over the past couple of weeks are, in my opinion, welcome, we seem to have a young vibrant side full of energy, ambition and determination. The ambition of the club will be seen if any of the younge lads start attracting the attentions of Premiership clubs, only then will it be completely possible to determine the future ambitions of the clubs owner and management.

GJ79Nick Shorey my Lord! Where are these promises you talk of? Do we have a contract with the club to deliver on results?
Well to start off Madejski said on bbc berkshire we are expecting a new signing (Tommy Smith) by the end of the day (didnt happen coz yet again we fcuk around for 6 weeks with silly offers), then Rodgers said he can bring in 3 to 4 new players after signing Rasiak and Jobi, and what do we end up with a sheffield utd reject, a another centre back, only on loan till jan and a young player from chelsea who hasnt got any experience at this level. Fantasic.
[...]starting up my own business. Thanks again

I've read this a couple of times and still can't see where a promise has been broken. All I see is excessive negativity against players you haven't even seen play for us yet.
That's also the second time that I've seen you mention running your own business, and I don't exactly thoroughly read through this forum. This massive insecurity... the need to continually remind everyone of your status... You are Sir John and I demand my five pound.

RoyalBluewinchester_royal This is the strangest night RFC has had since I started supporting the club.
Something must be really wrong with the finances at the club. Obviously we must have completely knackered ourselves with the wage bill last year.
I look forward with trepidation to the release of the finance figures.
They are taking an awful long time to get them looking the way they want us to see them!
Anyone who claims they won't paint the picture (paintings tend to be how the artist wants to portray things as opposed to a perfect likeness of reality) that the club want us to see clearly has never met any good business accountants! All, of course, will be done within the law.

Royal Rother When it comes to this subject Royal Blue is a totally ignorant numpty - ignore him.

Lets put our faith in Rogers, he is obviously building a squad he feels is the correct fit, and lets face it Harper and Rosenior cant rely on experience and past form alone. People knocked Coppell for his loyalty and nostalegia, Rogers is showing fearlessness to build the club he wants.
