Antonio looked pretty tidy last week, I think he can do a job for us, especially if Kebe is having a shitter.

Looks like Antonio has caught Rodgers eye, I remember reading that he was still training with the 17/18 year olds when Rodgers came in and now he's pushing for the first team. I don't think he'll be going on loan, could be surprised though.

Sending any of the kids currently on the fringe on loan must be difficult, we want them to get championship experience... but can we afford to send them to our rivals when we still don't know how the squad is going to perform this year?

Could always send them abroad... :?

Can't say I was at all impressed by Antonio in his brief appearance in the cup game last week - couldn't beat a man or pass. Bignall (whom Antonio replaced) on the other hand looked by far our most dangerous player until he was subbed.

He did enough that I could see his potential, but he is very rough around the edges. Did plenty against Barnsley by all accounts.

I'd expect Davies, Church and possibly Henry to go out.

and Pearce hopefully

He is the James Harper of the defence. Points and shouts, gives away stupid amounts of goals/penalties to donkeys that spent the last 15 years injured

I'd be amazed if Rodgers dropped 2 million quid Mills or doesnt play O'Dea

Pearce can get the same train as Simon Church. If not he can still do all his pointing from the subs bench

.

Bignall looked impressive from the Crewe highlights. Challenges the keeper well, has great pace and showed composure for his goal.

You did see the Newcastle and Sheff Utd games, right? Utterly out of his depth

punting in an goal vs Barnsley does not make him a good defender.

Should not be captain in a million years

Which players in those games looked in their depth?
Rodgers didn't give him the Vice Captaincy 'cos he's a shite defender and shouldn't play in this league.
I trust Rodgers' opinion of him than yours, cheers.

i'm assuming that he means with Rasiak coming in and Long and Hunt being chosen ahead of Mooney and Church, that they should go out to get some more experience.

Thanx Leww

just how much more "experience" does Mooney need?

He wanged in goals for Norwich last season

Churchy, needs no biggin' up either

No point in them staying when they're not going to play.
