Don't think Henry will go out on loan, he appears to be being trialled for the middle and if he went on loan he'd play as a winger.

Mooney might benefit from a short loan, but he can't be a million miles from starting. Scored a couple of good goals against Burton.

We'd be insane to loan out Pearce until Ingimarsson is 100% match fit.

Davies could be in bother with Howard coming in and Siggurdsson playing well, so we might try and get him out at a higher level than he was at with Aldershot. Tabb and Cisse don't seem too high up the pecking order at the moment, so they're potential candidates for loan moves. Especially as Cisse doesn't really fit our passing style. Given the relative height of the rest of our midfielders, I'm not sure we can carry Tabb, especially as he doesn't offer significantly more than most of the others.

Antonio seems an ideal candidate for a loan.

Generally we know so little about how our team is going to line up, and which combination will work, that we'd be stupid to send out more than one or two on loan at this time. Maybe more in a month or two when we know more about who's going to be playing regularly and who's needed for the bench and cover.

IMHO it would be insane to loan Pearce out at all.

This is supposed to be a thread updating how loan players are doing, not a general discussion on who should be loaned out or not ....

It's a loan watch. Who says that can't include speculation about who may go out on loan?

Rosenior was told he wasn't wanted anymore and they were letting him go as part of a cost-cutting exercise. BR rang him up and told him they'd accepted an offer for him from Ipswich - Rosenior didn't want to go - this "offer" was then reduced to a season-long loan. There can't be much left of that cloth now.

Whether he wanted to go is a bit irrelevant really (not for him obviously !)

If (and it's a big if) Cummings is better than him then it's the right move. We all know Rosenior has been less than perfect both defensively and going forward.

If on top of that it's a better deal financially for the club then that should be a bonus.

We'll have a better idea in 10-12 games I would guess.

Back on topic.........

Andersen kept a clean-sheet on debut, and the Rovers fans very complimentary

a comment from the link..

"I thought Andersen also had an impressive game: assured, one great save, barking orders and fantastic distribution which led to Lines' goal. Why did Reading let him go?"

the question we've been asking ourselves a lot lately about the majority of 'Outs' this summer..

Although we haven't let him go have we ?

And of course the reason is he's third choice (at best) for us.

Which players are we asking the question about by the way ?

think the loan window opens again today - expect a few more outs - Church, Henry, Mooney?

I think Mikkel will become a better kepper than Fedders. Good to see him getting some solid first team experience :thumbs up:

I'm not sure we'll ever find out.

He's not a patch on Hamer and there are other good young keepers coming through.

I'm expecting Hamer to be number one choice eventually and Andersen to probably move on due to lack of first team opportunities.
