floyd__streete This must be a record watch. Some say it is bigger than the clockface of the Palace of Westminster, commonly and inaccurately referred to as Big Ben.

Hasn't it got four clockfaces?
Plus Big Ben is easily acceptable in common usage to refer to the tower itself. Overall, not loving that post ^^^

cmonurz Right.
13 wins-watch
Chelsea's 6th straight win in the bag, 3-0 up at home to Spurs. Wigan, Liverpool and Villa in their next three, and I expect them to drop points somewhere there.
No-one else in the football league left with a 100% record.
106 points-watch
Teams with better than 2.304 points per game (106-point season)
West Brom - 20 points from 8 games (2.50 ppg)
Newcastle - 19 points from 8 games (2.38 ppg)
Leeds - 22 points from 8 games (2.75 ppg)
Charlton - 20 points from 8 games (2.50 ppg)
Bournemouth - 21 points from 8 games (2.63 ppg)
Dagenham & Redbridge - 19 points from 8 games (2.38 ppg)
Additional teams with better than 2.125 points per game (RFC's ppg after 8 games in 2005-06)
Bristol Rovers - 18 points from 8 games (2.25 ppg)

Tony Le Mesmer have to admit im keeping an eye on Leeds. of all the teams to break it, not them please. Albeit in a lower divison.
I am right in thinking that, in the 2 points for a win days, another team has beaten the equivalent of 106?

i thought Lincoln had a better record, but im not arguing with 'The Cube'.
Edit:
Lincoln had a 32 10 4 record for 74 points, the equivalent of 106. So yes, i am completely wrong that they bettered it.

handbags_harris Sod the points total. We did it by losing a mere two games. Lincoln lost four. So we're better than them
