The Nogan goal at home to Bolton.

Made the whole country stand up and take notice of us.

Being a Friday night game made it that little bit more special. Was it the game on TV when McGhee was in the studio and all you could hear was the Reading fans singing he's fat he's round??

For the pure moment Fos against Wigan was mind blowing...

The Forster goals vs Wolves and Wigan.

Cureton vs Brentford. Has anyone got a link of this goal or the game?

Beating Liverpool 3-1. Beating West Ham 6-0. Beating Tottenham 3-1.

Doyle goal to secure promotion.

Archie's penalty As to the Bolton game wasn't it on Good Friday? It was definitely at Easter as I had come back from visiting my mum in the States and I had terrible jetlag - but also great excitement as we won - the crowd was over 14,000.

And as to the tape - hmm we need to find someone to do that. I think I have the video as well but no player.

Oh and am back up in Manc from Wednesday - if you fancy meeting up for a pint soon let me know...

... or I lend you my video player ... :|

I farking missed out on Curo at Brentford, thanks to living abroad :x

Of course Leicester was amazing, but for a less obvious answer:

Remember going crazee when Archie scored that injury time winner against Wolves, having been 1-0 down in ordinary time. Great days

I actually had a list of about 15 different pandemonium moments, but most would be mentioned, others dismissed. But this one rarely, if ever, gets a mention at all, yet it was the cue for intense, possibly slightly emotional, celebrations amongst all who were there:

Archie Lovell's penalty against Luton Town in September 95.

For those that are probably thinking "huh???", this was the first penalty we were awarded after the 95 playoff final. Archie showed balls of steel to take it the way he did.

FWIW, the date of the Bolton league match was 21st April (3 days before my birthday). The attendance was 13,223.

Tony Le Mesmer Lee Nogan's late winner v Bolton in 95. Southbank Carnage.

Superb! That was pretty special. A friday night - two in-form teams going flat out against each other. Really great game and a fantastic feeling when the winner went in.

After missing out the season before in the play off final against Walsall the Cureton goal in the 80th minute against Brentord to win automatic promotion was a great moment.

That said, nothing can match promotion to the Premier at Leicester followed by the celebartions at home to Derby the following week.

I wish I did my friend, I honestly wish I did. I think the best ever birthday present i could ever receive would be a dvd from Meridian TV with all their highlights of RFC matches, even if it was just short news articles with the goals shown.

There aren't many videos of Reading FC on Youtube to be honest. It's a shame. Doe's Reading Player, have classic matches? However i do object to paying to watch my favourite team's highlights.

Playoff semi against Wigan. The Stadium has never experienced such electric atmosphere from when we got to 1-1 until the end of the match.

Archie's penalty I so so so so wish that someone would put 'year of the royals' onto Youtube. We played some wonderful stuff that season...

My tape was almost knackered so put it onto DVD. Quality not great, but certainly watchable. For a couple of pints I'm sure a copy could be found somewhere in my collection .....

This was a feature match on 5 Live. Couldnlt go to the match so audio taped it (sad or what!!). Lawrie McMenemy was summariser.

Played it non-stop on the drive up to Tranmere for 1st leg play-off victory!

Long drive there, but boy was it short coming home!

I'm sure the HNA masses could manage to transfer a few pints in your general direction. Would love to see the Bolton home game goals that's for sure...
