Notice McGhee thanking the fans for their patience. You gotta love the stupid noises in the background of the interviews. God I wish my VCR player didn't destroy tapes. Maybe we should try to get the club to release a limited set of DVDS for 93/94 and 94/95.

For sheer adrenaline, James Harper's equaliser at Palace in 2006 is up there for me. They'd just scored and we just went straight up there end and replied with a classy goal. I just lost it and without thinking ran straight towards the Palace fans but then realised a few hundred joined me. I've still got my mates' video of it all and love watching it. Also, I love Chris Kamara's commentary of it too: "that is why there top of the league" and that is what we sung at the top of our voices.

Wow, what memories.

Still have the videos, but no idea how to convert to DVD.

I scond the Osborn corkers at Oldham & Charlton though. Mark Robson's goal in the Charlton match was pretty special too.

And Kerr against Stoke (and Blackpool in 94 come to think about it). 9 yellow cards, 2 red and a 4-0 thumping. Beautiful.

The simod semi final against Coventry. Win on pens to get to Wembley for the first time in our history.

The whole of the Simod Cup final seems like a moment now. When the Reading players walked out the tunnel, and the noise that greeted them, must be one of the most emotional moments.

Same goes for first game in premiership against Boro.Just proud to be there sums it up.

Right, I've dug out all the old vids I can find, (hastily removing to the garage some, er .. hem .. more esoteric ones that perhaps my wife wouldn't understand - forgot I still had those! ), and if the spine notes are to be believed I have a few gems:

Coventry Simod cup s-f pens
Reading 4-2 Wolves full live game when FSB left
RFC 2-1 Charlton 07/05/95
Reading v WHU 9/11 LC game 0-0 but won through on pens
Chelsea LC 2nd leg when we won 3-1
Maidstone at Watling St (already up on YouTube by someone w=else)
A whole raft of Midlands Today etracts borrowed from Tamworth Royal (I think???) - who still has my Tranmere v Reading 3-1 play-off tape BTW!! Tamworth - perhaps we should swap back now I can copy to DVD at last?!?

That's in addition to the club tape from 87-88 (which is dire!), and 93-94/94-95. I also have the Bolton, Walsall and Luton wembley finals.

Then there's the club DVDs from 200/01 onwards (except 04/05 when they didnlt do one).

So give me some time and I will try to start ripping and uploading. Could be a long winter!

for pure mentalness of the celebrations, the 2-1 v Wolves tops the list for me.

Other games/goals have meant more overall, but the only goal that's come close in terms of its celebration was the late winner v Bolton in 95.

Great vid, I was plastic so I didn't start until the following season 8)

The late, late Archie show was without question the best ever feeling. It had all the right ingredients; ex-manager, a hot hot day, a chocka Southbank, a terrible Reading performance, a dodgy looking Wolves goal....then....well we know the rest! Two almost identical goals in two minutes in injury time. Jumpers for goalposts, etc, etc. I'd love to see some footage of that...

The Wigan semi-final was mental. The East Stand felt like it was going to collapse.

Harpers equaliser against Palace was the most recent, great football feeling.

RFC 2-1 Charlton 07/05/95

Another good game. Hot, packed Southbank, the knowledge we were into the play offs and nothing was going to stop us from winning  But now this game, for me, is best remembered for Brian Moore's commentary on the video.

His rant about the "idiots" who go on the pitch is proper  as his confusion on Nogan scoring first for Charlton....no Reading

Tony Le Mesmer Lee Nogan's late winner v Bolton in 95. Southbank Carnage.

My favourite moment of my favourite match.

I thought the top of my head was going to come off. The only other time I've felt like that without narcotics was when the Spice Girls did "Who Do You Think You Are" at the 1997 Brit Awards.

This game was the best football match I ever saw at EP. Two great teams playing football the way it should be played. Ark and I were walking back up the Tilehurst Rd afterwards and we were chatting to a couple of Bolton fans. We said we didn't want them in the play-offs and they said the same!!!

Lee Nogan's winner sent the singing Tilehurst End absolutely hatstand. Arms and legs everywhere! Brilliant night!!!

"Opportunity here for Charlton....or Reading rather...Lee Nogan"

IRC that when they showed the highlights, they edited out this piece of commentary.

Pretty sure I have full videos of Tranmere (A), both P/O finals, Wolves (H), Charlton (H) at a minimum.
