[quote="Nick Shorey my Lord!"][quote="strap"]Uploading the 4-2 win v Wolves just after McGoo left us now. Sadly I don't have the 2-1 win with Archie scoring in the 93rd and 96th mins.

Don Goodman got his revenge tho

Murty scoring that penalty against QPR in 2006 was quite a memorable moment and it just capped off that season.....

The roar every time Gilksey got the ball against Luton at Wembley.
Gilksey's winning penalty against Coventry in the Simod semi
Murts pen. against QPR
Watching Grandstand's tele-printer showing the late goals against Plymouth in the 4-3 win
Harps goal against Liverpool.

Terminal Boardom I don't recall reading this one...

Reading 3-1 Chelsea
Chelsea 3-2 Reading

League Cup tie 87/88. Gilkes with 2 and Martin Hicks spanked in a free kick from about 4 miles out. The second leg was a bit special too what with rain of biblical proportions, a Gordon Durie hat-trick for the cheats and Colin Gordon with a brace that put us through 5-4 on agg.

Definitiely got the first leg on tape, and may well have the second. Will copy to DVD once I've done the Coventry Simod Cup s-f.

Mate of mine bought the 2nd leg video from Chelsea. The most appalling commentary ever. The best vid I had was of the 3-3 draw away at Sheffield Utd. 3-0 down and 3 goals in about 7 minutes. We were going absolutely mental! 1986-87.

Do you have any clips of the famous long throw move from the Branfoot era? You now how it goes. Martin Hicks lumbers up from the back and Steve Richardson throws it onto his head for a flick on. Or... how about footage of Steve Rich out-jumping Ian Ormandroyd?

Depends on what you mean by real stadia.

We don't exactly play subbuteo at the Madejski Stadium, do we?

Love the way that Gilksey walked up so gingerly to the spot. Looked well scared!

I did enjoy watching that so thanks again Strap. It was a marvellous night and the Coventry fans were very sporting at the end of the game.
Probably the most enjoyable Reading game I have been to.

Not so much 'ecstatic', more memorable and enjoyable,
2001, we'd missed out on automatic... last game of the season, we didn't care, we knew it was play-offs for us... however, our opposition did because they had to win to be in the play-offs and to be our semi-final contenders :)
Reading 3 - 3 Bournemouth.
The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, and the fat belly contests between our sets of fans (the Bournemouth fan winning), the quality of football, Defoe making an entrance into football and looking like Premiership standard already.

Most ecstatic moment for me has to be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CF5SMIzkbgk.
Having been in year 5 at school when I attended this, I was under the 'wow influence' and it felt like Reading were impossible to beat!
Curo missing and Fozzy nipping in
