Re: New Reading Podcast - Now on Facebook

Stranded Cheers Wimb - we had a few issues with Jonny segment this week, so was a case of make do and mend I'm afraid as time is often tight.

No worries at all lads! the job you do in such a short space of time is top notch :) Out of interest how are you recording Jonny's segment, and the podcast in general. Maybe a behind the scenes segment to fill some time if we get beat again at the weekend ;)

The shows are always better than we get beat more to whinge about :-)

We record it using audacity and the segment with Jonny is done via Skype.

Any chance of getting them listed with 'Google Listen' so I can subscribe and download them straight to my phone?

Will see what we can do, may have to talk to the fancast people to see if that's possible.

Got an Ipod for my birthday last week, finally managed to work out how to download this podcast.

Excellent work guys, always good to get a fans view all the way down under.

Your wish is our command - should work here

Could you do us a favour and email West.williamsfancast@googlemail.com to let us know if it works.

Cheers

I'm 30mins into this, which is the first one i've ever listened to. Quite surprised by the quality actually. All sensible comments and you actually sound better than Jonny Fordham.

Bit of misinformation about Cardiff bringing 3,500 - sounds like only half that will be making the journey. No need to worry yourselves :-)

lolz@ "Harper sold his telly to my hairdresser". Superb source.

Top work chaps, provided some listening on the drive to work Monday morning!

Couple of questions for you guys to debate perhaps

1. What was the best atmosphere at a Reading game you've been too?
2. Would you ever like to see safe standing areas at the Mad Stad?

Keep up the good work.

Just listened to one of these for the first time. Would echo others comments re the quality - great work chaps.

This podcast has also answered the age old question "is there such a thing as a Reading accent" for me.
