Yes I can see it happening. However BR needs time...we have got rid of a whole team (worth more than the current one) over the last two years. We aren't gonna rebuild overnight.

AthleticoSpizz lol at the perrenially rational Ark Royals account being hacked into this season

Whats buggin' you Ark?

No, it really is me! I have grown more cynical with age, but I am just very angry at the way the club has imploded over the past couple of years. It makes me question the motives of the current hierarchy and whether they really want the club to be successful, i.e. become an established Premiership club. They said that last time and then took all of the glaringly wrong steps to try and accomplish that and the outcome was inevitable.

we're not going down. simples. we'll finish in the bottom half of the table and have a - goal difference, but we'll stay up.

We are definitely good enough to stay up. We SHOULD definitely stay up.

BUT things don't always work out that way as we found to our cost two seasons ago. So ask again in another 8 games. I'll give you a tentative answer then and a more certain one in January.

I can also watch full games on the web via some very dodgy feeds in Russia, Middle East, Far East etc. when we are live.

I cannot remember a team with such a poor record being talked up so much in the media etc except England at evry World Cup..but there must be three teams who will end up worse off than us.

As for Sullivan..no chance ..Essex boy.

I'd be less concerned if we were playing shit and not picking up results, at least there'd be room for improvement. How long until playing well and not getting results takes a toll on confidence.

The other thing that concerns me is that everything positive I'm hearing sounds remarkably similar to everything I heard about Southampton last season, play nice football, good young talent, unlucky, blah blah blah. Just get that gnawing feeling that we are in trouble this season.

We will finish lower to mid table. I will lay my house on us not going down.

We are truly shocking at times but the team is there on paper. They will gel.

I still say no but 10 games is usually a pretty accurate guide and we have some tough games coming up. In previous seasons 6 points from 8 games may have seen us bottom of the table. Rodgers needs to be open and honest and forget all this nonsense about being a world class model and accept he has made to many changes too quickly...acknowledge this and somehow try and get some continuity. The side isn't settled, there is a lack of confidence and a dreadful home record that has to be right and very very soon.
Some posters were laughing at Soton last season...perhaps we will end up being the team that is laughed at this term...
