We are not an awful team. We have been playing well. We did play well first half. Posh have come out a different team in the 2nd half and we're complacent. It's a shame and obvious that we're going to be in the bottom half of the table this season due to a lack of experience to close games out. I hope we don't get dragged in to a relegation scrap because the lack of experience will tell if we do. Need to keep midtable. I fear for Rodgers now, the 'fans' will turn and the board won't have much choice eventually. I still believe he's a good manager though. He's clearly had to 'cut the cloth' and that has affected how good a team we can be.

Sorry, but playing well for 20 minutes against cardiff does not equal and unlucky team playing well.

Southampton played well a few times last season and played us off the park...what happened to them?

He knew he had to cut the cloth when taking the job. If he wasn't happy with that he should have told Madejski to do one. He obviously felt he could do ok on a small budget and with younger players - seems, so far, he was wrong. But like I said, we don't have any other choice at the moment. I think we could do with someone to help Rodgers with tactics etc. I'm not convinced Frank Lampard Snr is the best man for the job tbh.

Does he actually go to our Saturday games, or does he go and watch Junior?

Very good post.

Don't you think that Rodgers is a bit too desperate to get a win?

Such an adventurous formation.

Why do people do this? Am I supposed to be offended or bothered some RTG moron has placed me on ignore?

That's the crux of the matter!

Mind you despite possessing an ego the size of a universe, even ducks*rse hasn't had the bare-faced cheek to come out on the pitch recently, inviting his disciples to break into rousing applause!

Royal Lady He knew he had to cut the cloth when taking the job.

I bet he didn't realise it meant cutting it to shreds though! If he did, why did he make such a thing about signing Smith? Surely he would already have known he wouldn't be allowed the money!

I hope he does have the balls to tell the Chairman where he can shove the job, rather than ending up the fall guy for him.

"So far" being the key phrase there.

I didn't say he didn't know, but how is it his fault? If he was the one who said "all these players need to go, they're not good enough" then fair enough, but I suspect (I admit I'm not itk) that he had a directive and he's done that. Now we're all moaning that he's not good enough to take a bunch of academy players and turn them in to top Championship class players?
