Heard.
It.
All.
Before.

I think that some rent-a-quote like Stuart bloody Lovell came out with a line like this every week during the 97/98 season  . Besides, if Federici is playing the best we can hope for is a 4 or 5-2 8)

Pst... Floyd, he's kept 3 clean sheets in 8 games, that's 37% and only 1 game off 50%.
compared to 47.8% in 05/06 and 45.6% last season.

NR_Royal Well, I can imagine this happening next season when we're in League 1.

I can't - after a summer clear out (WCBAP) we will give the U18's a run out. Walcott will be our only hope!

LOL at players saying what they think the supporters want to hear. Cut the crap. Cut the BS. Cut the patronising bollix. If things start getting shtty on Saturday then I hope Fed gives his back 4 both barrells.

It's a new medical condition called: "Rodgersitis". Symptoms are to boast idly without cause.

You only win 6 or 7-0 if the oposition are spectacularly shit on the day. I'd much rather see a gritty, hard fought 1-0 win where we don't fold like a pack of cards the moment the opposition exert even the slightest bit of pressure.

I would rather see us dictate the pace of a game, and be in control. I would like to see our players be confident on the ball and want to take possession. I would also like to have the six numbers for the lottery and to give Jessica Alba a damn good seeing to.

I want Afed to cover his near post not say we're going to win 7-0!

But Federici admitted that anyone calling for the manager to be sack was wrong.

“That’s a bit ridiculous,” confessed Federici.

I'm more concerned at the dreadful subbing at the REP than the content (Australian sportsman makes faintly ridiculous, wildly optimistic prediction of his team's upcoming performances - is that really news?). In what way is 'confession' appropriate here, really now?

At the moment, the only way we are going to stick six or seven by anyone is if we play ourselves.

leww_rfc http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/readingfc/s/2057627_adam_federici_warns_reading_fc_rivals_of_royal_beating

Adam Federici has warned Reading’s Championship rivals that one of them will be on the wrong end of footballing master-class soon.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper feels that even though the 21st-placed Royals haven’t got going in the league so far this season, a big result is just around the corner.

And the Australian international would love it if the team could put it all together against manager Brendan Rodgers’ old side Watford this Saturday at Madejski Stadium (3pm kick-off).

The confident 6ft 2ins keeper said: “I’m sure in the future there will be teams that will cop six or seven from us because some of the football we’ve been playing has been superb.

“We’re just waiting for that win big win to get our confidence back and we can go on from there.

“The boys have got a lot to prove and I really do believe that in the next few games someone’s going to get four or five nil from us.

“Slowly but surely it’s all coming together. It’s only eight games in and it’s a long way to go.

“We have so much talent in this group and we all just need to click together for the full 90 minutes.”

After the defeat some fans have heavily criticised Northern Irishman Rodgers after Royals have managed just one win, three draws and suffered four defeats in the league.

But Federici admitted that anyone calling for the manager to be sack was wrong.

“That’s a bit ridiculous,” confessed Federici.

“Brendan’s a fantastic manager and I don’t think managers ever come into a job straight away and get it right.

“It took a few years for Steve Coppell to get everything right here and everyone needs to be patient, the results will come the way things are set up here and we got a preview of that in the first 45 on the weekend.”

I notice the amount of goals we're going to score against this team keeps going down during the interview. First it's 6 or 7 nil then 4 or 5 nil. What's in the next exclusive Fed interview "someone is going to take a real 1-0 beating soon"
