floyd__streeteMaguire Kebe is GENIUS.
That is all
In the same way that Norman Wisdom was genius, perhaps. If I wanted to see a comedy act I'd go down to South Street.

Tony Le MesmerThaumagurist*Tony Le Mesmer One thing that gets me is fans slagging off the ref shouting "But he won the ball!"
Honestly, there are so many fukwits out there who honestly have no concept of the game whatsoever. They actually think that going into a tackle and touching the ball automatically makes it legit. Even though they might have broken 2 legs in the process. Even some TV pundits say it. Clueless cnts.
Surely, if the player got the ball before touching the player, it's not an illegal tackle?
I rest my case.

Tbf, you never described what kind of tackle we're talking about.

handbags_harris Spacey, let me help TLM and explain in plain and simple terms. The type of challenge he spoke about would be any that breaks a leg. Any challenge that breaks a leg would result in a free kick given by a competent referee because the challenge would, without doubt, have entailed the use of excessive force, thereby endangering an opponent.

So Gurney's tackle at Bristol City that broke their guy's leg should have been a foul and a penalty?
Injuring a player has nothing at all to do with a challenge being judged a foul or not.
to be fair, you can hardly blame a lot of people considering how clueless so many experts are on tv. Remember the "offside/not offside" debate in Euro 2008, which had Andy Towsend howling "I don't care what referees say the rules say, that's definitely offside."
David Moyes said the other day about a "handball" in the area "even if it wasn't intentional, it hit his arm and stopped a goal, so it has to be a penalty"
As for fans, anyone who says "it's clear he's lost the dressing room" should just be put down.
