Football fans are oxf*rd thick. Some of them have been going a long time and should have learnt something about the game during that period.
They can't see any further than the scoreline of the last game.
Their team could have totally out-played their opponents, had 3 shots kicked off the line, hit the woodwork 4 times, had 2 goals disallowed and the opposition pinch the game 1-0 with a heavily deflected fluke and they will walk out the game in disgust blaming the manager - bunch of thick pcunts.

I remember listening to a radio phone-in (f*ck me those things are even more cretinous) the season after Man Utd had won the treble in 1999. Man Utd had suffered from a slow start to the following season and the pcunts were ringing saying "Fergie has to go now, he's taken us as far as he can, he's done well, but time for a new manager."
Now I hate Man Utd and Fergie as much as anyone, but that bloke has to be beyond shit like this.
And where did Man Utd evenutally finish that season?
They won the title by 14 clear points!!!

Football fans are as thick as shit - and that is a fact!

For somebody who joined in December 2005,gotta say inwithit is certainly a person of few words. So by the time he/she posts again we'll be getting on for nearly halfway through the next decade.

Still,plenty of thinking time eh.

Elm Park Old Boy I got on a silent bus after the Cardiff game, to see a dozen vacant young-old faces staring at me morosely.

A couple of them made comments on the game ('we're going' down' - 'It's going up on Facebook when I get 'ome: 'madejski out'').

I realised I had raised the average IQ on the bus just by getting on it (and I ain't that clever).

When I ventured the opinion that I enjoyed the Cardif game more than the previous Saturday's borefest against Doncaster, one lad said: 'wouldn't you rather be bored and win?' (overlooking the fact that we hadn't wo nagainst Donny either)

I remember watching us beat Norwich 4-0 in the 106 season. It was too easy, embarrassing even: Norwich didn't even try. I was livid! I wanted to see a competitive game of football and whilst I was greatful for the 3 points, I felt like I had just watched a pointless friendly.

Result<quality, competitive football match

Actually, like many games that season, it was quite competitive up to 1 or 2-0. In fact, I'm sure they very nearly scored at 0-0. Not sure why we kept winning those types of games that season and I doubt we'll ever see a season like it again at that level!

so that was all of 6 minutes then

Reading: Shorey (6 mins), Sidwell (17 mins), Lita (55 mins), Convey (69 mins).

?????Err, yeh. And pay their money. And are entitled to have bit of a moan after the last 2 and a bit seasons of relative rubbish. Good on them.

Royal Lady  Kebe blows a bit hot and cold but he isn't sh1t every single time he plays.

He's unplayable at this level on his day. On a bad day he's possibly the most infuriating player I've ever seen in a Reading shirt and I can see why people react like they do when he has one.
