At least we are better than Ipswich. They are world class with a world class manager and world class former managers

I didn't think there was a single Reading player that had a bad game however I feel the subs by Rodgers were appaling

Can't complain. Shit team had a shit performance.

Highlight was probably watching the Watford fans on the coach act like apes when I held up the Brendan Rodgers page in the programme up to the window.

It was terrible, one up front, no Matejovsky, no attacking guile, desperate set pieces, no marking on their set pieces.

The manager's proud of the players after a draw at home to Watford, a side we haven't finished below in nigh on a decade.

The club is in dissaray and the manager doesn't give the slightest indication of having a clue what to do about it.

Cant beat Watford, laughable.
Two awfully bad sides and we have a manager who really is losing the plot second on second.
Gaurenteed defeats for next 2 games. Bottom 3 in 7 days. Exciting times.

It's ok though, he is friends with Mourinho. F*ck off cnut.

Obviously not winning is disappointing but it was definitely a point won rather than two dropped against a good Watford side that scrapped for everything. I felt we did well to hold on for a draw and really did not expect us to at one point. In the end after the sending off we could well have nicked it.

Fed - 5 - not really much to do and no chance with the goal
Cummings - 5 - some nervous touches and some poor passes but he will get better
Ingi- 7 - calm and assured - good to see him back
O'Dea - 7 - Calm and assured
Bertrand - 7 - classy player
Karacan - 8 - MOTM for me - non stop effort
McAnuff - 7- very good first half but tired which was understandable as he has not played for a while _ for those criticising substitutions he had to come off to protect him
Sig - 6 - good first half
Kebe - 5 - reasonable first half - frustrating second half
Howard - 5.5 - some good moments but gave the ball away a good deal
Rasiak - 6 - held the ball up ok but does look slow

Gunnar - 6 - did well
Hunt - 5 - did not get into the game much
RK - 5 - mixed bag of taking people on well but some poor crosses.

Rodgers - Can't really criticise him today - it would have been a disaster if we had lost against his old team - so on balance a fair result.

Your comments are laughable - Watford are 7th - look at the league table!

Surprising considering they lost their 'world class' manager, lost their best players and appointed a novice manager.

Much like us. But they have twice as many points. I would not call them bad at the moment. If we were in their lofty position we would be creaming ourselves.

"Can't criticise Rodgers....on balance a fair result" - you're joking right?? Of course you can criticise Rodgers - did you not see our complete lack of intelligence on the ball? The manager's job is to show the players who they're marking, what to do at set pieces etc etc. We were woeful for much of the game imo. Still, good old Brendan still managed to take some positives from it, even though he admitted he didn't know his best team yet.

If we were high up the table on a good run I think you would be looking at this game very differently. All we lack is a bit of confidence and when the wins start to come the confidence will also come. I just did not think we were that bad today, but I think the fans have got into a negative mind set and only see the problems not the good things that we are doing.

Fail to see your point, if your sticking up for this team, then look at the league table! Relegation scrap.

Really enjoyed the first half, Rodgers makes a pointless change for no reason, Federici costs Reading a goal by a woeful bit of decision making, Rodgers panics makes 2 more unneccesary changes, Reading are utter mince for the remainder of the game. In a nutshell.

Good first half, and there are glimpses of what we can do when we get it right, sadly we're not clicking often enough, and there are some serious confidence issues within the squad atm.

And FWIW, in McAnuff I think we've finally found someone who can do damage down the wing.
